- I know you're tired but you'll be glad you did it tonight. Once grout dries out it is harder than h#ll. You'll be scraping grout till the cows come home and worrying about scratching your tile the whole time. Use some white vinegar to damp you cloth. It will help loosen the grout and clean the tile nicely while you're at it.

- There is not set standard but most people use a 1/4 joint and I m assuming your using a tile that uses a sanded grout. I personally like to use a 3/16 joint but this depends on the type of tile. Cheaper tiles are not sized and made as well as a more expensive tile like a porcelain. Then I use a 1/4 joint. Some less experienced people will use a 1/4 because its just a bit easier to work with.
