FAQ
1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
- Q:Is it hard to fit tile around the toilet? Should I start there first?
- it's not hard to do but you have a little bit of cutting to do. to start with the peel an stick, i would start in the middle of you doorway to the bathroom and go straight across the room( you want full tiles in front of the door) and leave cut ends to the one side. once you get that line across and use a laser line if you have one, everything else is smooth sailing... before you put the peel and stick down... what do you have on the floor now? if you have other tile down, i would not put new stuff over top of it, it usually don't stick right, try putting a thin sheet of plywood down or(i believe it's called mahogany) you can buy thin sheets of this. put it down first and then tile. it's a little bit more work but it's worth it, cost less too if your not replacing in a few months too. Have fun, it's easy, i did mine first try!!! :)
- Q:Dongpeng tiles and Europe Shennuo which cost-effective

- Q:i have just bought a house and my ceiling tiles needs cleaning. i would like to know if anyone out there knows what i can use to clean them. the ceiling tiles has dust but also has mildew on some of them. i don‘t want to replace them, i just want to clean them for now. thank you everyone.
- Sarri is right, it depends on what they are made of. I had the ones that pop into a frame, they are plastic sheeting with some insulation. I took them down, I washed them with soap and water, and put them back dry. And it depends on what it is on them. If it is cig smoke, you either need dishwashing soap made for greasy dishes, or a strong cleaning solution. I used 409 on my walls. I used a swifter with pads soaked in 409 on my painted bathroom ceiling. It took a lot of scrubbing. Buy one of those soft bristle brooms meant for corners amd ceilings, those work well on the dust. The tiles in this house are porous, they seem to be made from some sort of stiff fiberboard. These I wiped off with a damp rag, bought some paint primer and gave them a nice coat, then came back with ceiling paint. They look great. And if they are badly stained, and need to be sealed, there are paints for that.
- Q:To remoe the old wall tiles between kitchen cabinet takes a lot of time or may damage the sheetrock behind it, can I install granite or new tiles on top of it. Appreciate for any input
- Hi, Well, in order to support wall tiles a special board should be nailed to your wall. It provides much better support than regular dry wall, plus it also has many grooves on it which will help greatly in holding the mortar in place, this type of board goes by many names, I know it by the name hard back, or cement board. If you install tile over tile, you're losing the ability for the mortar to adhere, plus you're adding twice the weight that the hard back was meant to support. What ought to be done, in order to insure your expensive tile job lasts, is to remove the tile, and probably the hard back board behind it. If you're able to just remove the hard back without chipping away at the existing tile, then you get two steps out of the way fairly easily......but the thing is, that hard back is usually nailed very well into place, using many nails, this is to prevent it from flexing, because if it flexes much then the tile would come off the wall. Then once you've gotten the old hard back off of the wall, you'd install a new hard back to put your new tile on. Both Home Depot and Lowes offer tile installation classes for free, plus the people they have in those departments would be able to help you at any time. They'll be able to tell you what all you'll need once you've gotten the old stuff off the wall. Best of luck!
- Q:Jane marble tiles how to join
- See what place, if someone in the agent you can not proxy
- Q:In my home, we have polished tiles. My kid has fall-down most of the time. Can anyone help me to remove polish from ceramic tiles?
- You do not want to do this for two reasons. One is that it will take away all the protection from the tile that allows the tile itself to be water proof and stain proof. Take away the glaze and the tile will stain. The second reason is that the glaze provides most of the tile body strength. A couple of things to help prevent tiles from being slick.. Remove all wet shoes and keep the floor dry. Hard with kids I know. Anti slip area rugs helps. And lastly there are products that you can use in the mop water that helps the tiles from being slick. B -Safe is one OTC product that is commercially rated that you can use day to day. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GL
- Q:is there any benifits to having the tiled ceilings? please answer ASAP
- It's so they can easily get into the ceiling and do repairs/alterations to the electrical wiring and/or plumbing.
- Q:How can I find out how many tiles I need to buy?
- Measure and figure out the square footage of your kitchen floor.
- Q:I am going to be removing ceramic tile in my kitchen and was wondering what the easiest way to go about it was? I was going to use a hammer and a flat ended screw driver, what do you think?
- The screw driver will be destroyed and unworkable a few tiles in. You would be better off using a wide chisel bit with your hammer. You can get a concrete chisel for about $20. it’s a long round piece of metal with a wide flat sharp head. You could also use a normal wood chisel but you will need to sharpen it often on a bench grinder. Removing tiles is hard work. If it’s a large area you would be better of getting a small jack hammer with a sharp flat chisel bit.If you tap a wall to hard with the jack hammer it can damage the plaster in the other room on the other side of the wall your tapping. If you’re talking about floor tiles then get a jack hammer or rent a tile removal machine. It’s like a jackhammer on wheels with a wide sharp blade at the bottom. You might be lucky though. Sometimes depending on the previous glue work they just fall off with a couple of taps.
- Q:Staining and grout removal aside, are there other disadvantages to using natural stone tile for bathtubs?
- For the outside sounds really neat... and if inside we are talking well drained sand floors with slope to outside(remember New Orleans... it was the levees designed to keep city dry that flooded it!) Expense would be another good reason besides you do know how hard ring around the tub is on vinyl/fibercase/porcelin tubs NOW imagine porous rock... But as cost no object allow larger size(for rock sides/bottom) build water tight container(well supported- no joke intended) with drain/ overflow and then place rocks and grout(optional) away... you are doing this ground level or then ALSO consider weight and add new truss supports etc. Will this new tub be inspected by city/county? They may have something to say... or if you have plans to ever sell... Looking better and better outside? Concrete pond ! Yeah I know,,,
