Q: The thickness of aluminum foil bag is 30 silks. Is it thick or thin?
It's very thick since the aluminum used in composite sluminum foil tape is 0.3mm.
Q: How would you reheat thawed, cooked lasagne??? I don't want to just microwave it, but I don't know if I heat it up in the oven if it will dry out.I made the lasagne a couple of months ago (February) and I froze some of the cooked leftoversI took it out of the freezer Sunday afternoon and it is defrosting in the FridgeI want to have it for dinner tonight so how would you reheat it???I suppose I could just microwave it, but I would like your suggestions.P.SI'm going to be making homemade garlic bread to go along with it, and maybe a small salad. Thanks in advance for your help!!
I've found the best way to reheat a lasagne in the oven is to tightly cover it with aluminum foil firstThat helps keep the moisture in and it won't dry outYou should only have to cook it half an hour or so at 350 if it's completely thawed, but every oven is different, of courseSounds delicious!
Q: i am having my family of 10 over on boxing day and i want a do it yourself theme thing like a build your own something like tacos or quesadillas or something like that but a little fancier maybe i dont knw i need ideas .
I had a Make Your Own Pizza party for my extended family, and it was a big hit with both adults and kidsI bought some of the pre-made individual pizza crusts(You could bake some small ones in advanceMy Publix grocery store sells balls of fresh pizza dough in the bakery.) On the dining table, I set out 2 different sauces (marinara and pesto), a variety of shredded cheeses, and chopped meat and vegetable toppings in cereal bowls, as well as the pre-baked pizza crustsI had a box of individual Reynolds aluminum foil sheets for people to create their pizzas on, and multiple people could put their pizzas in the oven and bake them at the same time, as long as they preferred(Ten people should be no problem, I had 12.) Everyone loved that they could have exactly what they wanted on their own pizza; people got really creative and had funYou can serve a salad on the sideIf you want to make it a fancier meal, have a fancy dessertPizza is a great choice for us around the holidays; we have so many baked ham and turkey sit-down meals, so something a little spicy and casual is relaxing and funGood luck!
Q: I can literally write about anythingIt has to be a page (double spaced) and the topic has to be problematic, significant, and interestingAny ideas? Thanks!
My town accepts (in one bin) metal foils, plastics numbered between 1- 6 (including styrofoam), glass, paper (not cardboard) lawn clippings, leaves, grass clippings.
Q: Does anyone know what kinds of juice boxes or juice bags can be frozen without splitting open? My child goes to a charter school and they pack every lunch so I want to keep her lunch cool and thought about freezing the juice.Any other ideas on cold beverages or good lunch packing tips?
Get some of those small Tupperware containersI think they are a half cupFill with canned fruit and freezeThey will be cold and icy by time for lunchI'm not sure about freezing the juice boxI would free one test one, tear it open and make sure it didn't breakOne thing my Mom did that made every kid so jealous in the lunch room was she took my thermos and filled it with chicken noodle soup, then she tied a string through a hot dog and dropped it into the soupShe packed the bun inside my lunchbox in aluminum foil so it didn't get crushedThen one of those fruit cupsYummy!!! And every kid wanted to know: Where did you get the hotdog?? haha
Q: i have to build a small scale wind turbine model that can generate electricitythe problem is i have no idea how to make those bladesive researched and i can use wood, pvc pipe maybe even plastic for the bladesdoes anyone know what material i should use for the blades?? and how can i make the blades correctly with the right curveture and everything.?!? please help
Grease the panMake sure you cook them long enough- a knife inserted into the brownies near the middle should come out cleanLet them cool around 10 minutes before you take them out but don't wait too long.
Q: I am looking to make an easy dessert, maybe cake like or with fruit?Heading to my mother in law's for dinner and would like to bring something yummy but easy.Any ideas please??????????
It might be ok as long as you do not have another vapor barrior under the planks like tarpaper as is commonly used under flooringAssuming there is not a second vapor barrior, you can just lay it on the floor as you describe.
Q: What type of solvents can I use to take of dirt and residues. Thanks so much for your time and information.Sincerely,Tom Science
The gentlest way I know involves heating it gently in a large pan of water (not an aluminium pan) with some baking soda dissolved in ithe water and some crumpled up aluminium foil Best of luck - Mike
Q: Sorry, this question may seem dumb, but I'm serious! So I have a box of Jiffy and it gives a recipe for 15 pancakes(2 Cups Jiffy, 1 1/4 cup milk, eggs and shortening optional)I decided to divide that recipe in 5 so there'd only be 3 pancakes(I got 6.4 tablespoons Jiffy and 4 tbsp milki added 1/2 tbsp butter)My pancakes came out extremely thick! They didn't come out right at all! What did I do wrong? Why was my pancake batter sooo thick? Isn't it suppose to be runny? Should I just make all 15 pancakes, and save the batter?? Thank you to anyone who replies! :)
Heat your skillet over medium-high heat, or turn your griddle to 375 degrees about 5 minutes before you plan to use itYour skillet is ready when a few drops of water skitter across the surface Grease the cooking surface with a light coating of vegetable oil or spray with cooking spray before heatingNonstick or well-seasoned surfaces may not need any greaseStir the batter with a whisk or fork, just until the ingredients are moistenedDon’t worry if there are small lumps in the batter, they will disappear during cookingMeasure ingredients carefullyBatter that is too thin will spread unevenly and result in flat pancakesBatter that is too thick won’t spread much at allIf you like your pancakes on the thinner side, add a little milk to the batterFor well-rounded pancakes about 4-inches wide, pour the batter onto the hot skillet using a ?-cup measuring cup, a large spring-handled ice cream scoop or a large spoonFlip pancakes only once! Repeated flipping will toughen the pancakesPancakes are ready to flip when they’re puffed, covered with bubbles and slightly dry around the edgesCook the other side until it is golden brownTo keep pancakes warm, place them in a single layer on a paper-towel-lined cookie sheet in a 200 degree ovenDon’t stack warm pancakes or they will become limp and soggyTo freeze pancakes, cool and wrap them in aluminum foil or place them in a freezer bag for up to a monthTo reheat, place them in single layer on baking sheet, cover with foil and heat at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes For variety, stir fresh or frozen (thawed and drained) blueberries, finely chopped apples, thinly sliced bananas, mini- chocolate chips your batter should be about the same as cake batter
Q: Analyze1AAn atom that gains electrons from a negatively charged ion (anion)The name of an anion of a nonmetallic element ends in -ideWhat is it?BAn atom that loses electrons forms a positively charged ion (cation)The name of a cation of a metallic element is the same as the name of the elementWhat is it?2SolveA1-, iodine ion (an anion)BSr^2+, strontium ion (a cation)1Write the name and symbol of the ion formed whenAA sulfur atom gains two electronsBAn aluminum atom loses three electrons.2How many electrons are lost or gained in forming each ion?ABa^2+ BAs^3- cCu^2+Thanks.
well this is chemistry and he is asking questions anywho 1.A) metal ion/cationit gains electrons to fulfill its outer shell (usually)B) non-metal ion/anionit loses excess electrons to cations 2A) iodide anion B) strontium cation 1A) S sulphur - S(2-) sulphide ion B) Al aluminium - Al(3+) aluminium ion 2A) from Ba to Ba(2+) 2 electrons are lost B) from As to As(3-) 3 electrons are gained C) from Cu to Cu(2+) 2 electrons are lost
