- Q: Why don‘t smokers stand up to tobacco companies? Smoking would be a lot less harmful if it weren‘t for all the additives. I would venture out to say that a lot of smokers, indeed, enjoy smoking. they would probably continue to smoke out of their own will, with the absence of added addicting substances. Also, why do cigarette companies add lethal chems to their tobacco? What is the purpose? Would it be possible to form a smoker‘s strike? The government/FDA is not going to step in because they are in bed with the cigarette companies. Thoughts?

- HC (hydrocarbon) limits indicated a proper fuel/air mixture. NOx (Nitrogen dioxides) are the result of the catalytic converter doing its job and breaking down heavier nitrogen gases. CO ( carbon monoxide) is basically raw fuel or the product of incomplete combustion of fuel. Most CO is produced when air-to-fuel ratios are too low in the engine during vehicle starting, when cars are not tuned properly, and at higher altitudes, where thin air reduces the amount of oxygen available for combustion. It may be as easy as a tune up or a set of plugs. The additive most likely did NOT contribute to the high readings. Remember too that a half full tank of fuel has a half full tank of fumes or raw fuel vapors. GM Tech since 1990 and cert'd Ontario Drive Clean Tech.

- I use Sea Foam in the fuel of my bike. Mix according to the manufacturer's recommendations. About 1 ounce per gallon of fuel. I do this about every other tank. When storing my bike for the off season I use Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer. My bike has a pair of complicated constant velocity carburetors. They are not even the same. One is a down draft and the other is a side draft. I don't ever want to go inside these carburetors. You can find both products at any major automotive parts store.

- Taurus up until 99, had all types of tranny problems and they can go with little warning. You didn't say the year. Ford used some softer aluminum valves in it to save weight I assume and these especially in 2nd gear go out around 100k. It's hard to drop the tranny in them, limited space. Additives can actually make them slip more, get it checked soon.
