Q: I have a laptop with azerty keyboard on it and my OS uses qwerty. How can I change my keyboards setings from qwerty to azerty so I can match the keyboards printed letters to the output letters of my screen?thank you for your help
Here are a couple of ways to get the job done.
Q: anti-logger sdk ate my keyboard driver, how do I get it back?
Sometimes your keyboard will come with a driver, or at least they used to. If it didn't, then your best bet is to go into control panel administrative tools computer management then navagate to hardware. Look for your keyboard, go to properties, and in there you should be able to uninstall the broken driver. Reboot, and it should work again.
Q: Method for keeping keyboard clean
Regular disinfection of the keyboard Try to avoid eating and smoking when operating keyboard
Q: I look for that / but in the other way on my keyboard xplio
Keyboards form part of the user interface and a keyboard problem can be very annoying. Sometimes the keyboard drivers can get corrupted. Some of the problems can be fixed . I have found the details given at fixit.in/keyboard.html is more useful. Try here, if you can what you are searching for!
Q: I hooked my laptop up to an external monitor and keyboard. When I try to unhook them and just use the laptop monitor and keyboard, the laptop keyboard does not work right. It doesn't type the correct letter. How do I fix this? I assume it has something to do with the external keyboard. Is there some way to switch between the two?
If you mean that the keyboard now types incorrect letters on the screen (and the external still works when connected), and not just a stuck shift key, then there is a problem with the scan codes coming from the laptop keyboard to the system board. Something probably damaged the KB while it was not being used, like a heavy weight set on it, and the board is cracked. You probably need a new KB on the laptop. Depending on the age and model thius can b from $25 to $125, the last time I changed one it cost me about $45. BTW, same problem if there is no response to some keys.
Q: how can i get a non-qwerty keyboard layout for iphone ios4?for example the keyboard layout for Japanese Ten Keybut for English? i am not a big fan of qwerty keyboards
For either a non-jailbroken iPhone or a jailbroken iPhone, you currently cannot get a keyboard like you are requesting. There is a jailbroken app called itypefastr that would allow you to install a modified keyboard, but it was qwerty and does not work on IOS 4. There are some other keyboards out, but they are language specific. Good luck!
Q: What is the structure of a conventional keyboard
?but the process is relatively complex, so most of the ordinary keyboard were not designed according to this.
Q: Every time I start up my computer my keyboard won't work, i tried plugging my usb keyboard to another usb plug then after that my keyboard works but when I start up my computer again, the same thing hapens, I always have to change the plug, after I used all the plugs my keyboard doesn't work in any usb plugs anymore, I dunno which is broken, my keyboard or my usb ports.
It could be either, by the sound of things. There is an easy way to determine which is defective: Turn your computer off. Select a USB port and hook your keyboard up to it. Now Turn on your computer. If the keyboard works, well problem solved. If not, then turn your computer back off. Take any other device with a USB adapter, cable, jack, ect. and plug it into the SAME USB port you previously have your keyboard in. If the device works, then the keyboard is broken. A simple fix (that most people would choose) is just to buy a new keyboard in this case. You can get one at your local computer store for around $10 for a basic one. In the mean time you can use the On-Screen Keyboard which any windows computer has if you do a search (found in different locations depending on Operating System). This is assuming your keyboard IS broken. If the previous experiment didn't render your keyboard broken, then ask a friend who knows about computers to check out your BIOS. If he/she is a computer person, they know what BIOS is. The reason I say a friend is because in all honesty, most computer repair services waaaay over-charge for the work they do. Some names come to mind (especially the ones that rhyme with Peek Quad). Non-the-less, If you get your BIOS looked at and your friend can't fix it, it may possibly be your motherboard. Hope it's not your motherboard, for that is not a cheap piece of equipment in terms of the average buyer. If it is your mother board, ask for more help, and I will provide. Hope this helps and best of luck.
Q: I am trying to make a PIANO KEYBOARD out of a Regular PC Keyboard, thus, I want to dissasemble a PC keyboard and make a 32-key PIANO keyboard out of it, I'd use homemade piano keys for the piano keyboard's keys and arrange it like a regular piano keyboard (so i can use it perfectly with my MIDI synthisizer), the question is, how can I arrange the homemade piano keys on the pc keyboard's switch pad in a horizontal way, unlike the original orientation of the regular keys? Since the PC Keyboard's keys (at least 32 keys) are not aligned respectively, can I possibly use metal strips to adjust certain points on the keyboard's switch pad to align at least 32 keys horizontally?
It would work as long as you would not attempt to pierce the pcb inside the keyboard (assuming that you have one, of course). Yet tt would be a lot more effective, ergonomic, reliable and aesthetical, if you would just make a custom enclosure for your home made MIDI keyboard. Go for wood, or organic glass, whichever fits you best. After all, if you are able to make piano keys, i think that making a box of some-kind of material and fixing the pcb on it + keys would not be too hard. A tad of planning, half-a day of work and tu-dum!
Q: I found on one site that keyboard protectors can damage keyboards, pulling the printed letters off of them and turning this yellow. I just received mine and it works great but I'm worried about this. I just found this information on one site so I'm wondering if anyone else has had this experience with them. Please share your experience with keyboard skins here. Thanks!
Are you stupid? Leave the key protector on and every week or so pull it off and clean it. Maybe if you left the protector on for a year then the letters would come off but not if you take it off and clean it ever now and then
