2.Production Flow about stainless steel sheet

Raw materials are sending to hot rolling units for rolling into different sizes

Hot rolled material is annealing in cold; rolled annealing furnace and pickling in acid.

All mill rolls are grinded on precision grinding machine with proper chamfering after first shiftoperation.

All sheets are pickled in different tanks and dried on brush roll machine before dispatched.

These sheets are again annealing and are sent to straighten machine for straightening.

Inspections are done at various stages. Keep proper control overall internal process via rolling, annealin and pickling by our experienced staff.

Q: Can stainless steel sheets be used for architectural railings?
Yes, stainless steel sheets can be used for architectural railings. Stainless steel is a popular material choice for architectural railings due to its durability, corrosion resistance, and aesthetic appeal. Stainless steel sheets can be custom fabricated and shaped into various designs and sizes to meet the specific requirements of the architectural railing project. Additionally, stainless steel sheets can be finished in different ways, such as brushed, polished, or textured, to achieve the desired look and feel. Overall, stainless steel sheets are a versatile and reliable choice for architectural railings, providing both functionality and visual appeal.
Q: What's the difference between 304 stainless steel and 314?
304 is equivalent to 0Cr18Ni9 stainless steel in our country,314 is equivalent to 1Cr25Ni20Si2 stainless steel in our country
Q: What are the different welding techniques used for stainless steel sheets?
Various welding techniques are commonly employed for stainless steel sheets, each offering distinct advantages and considerations. 1. TIG Welding (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding): TIG welding, a versatile and precise method, proves suitable for thin stainless steel sheets. It involves using a non-consumable tungsten electrode to generate an electric arc that melts and fuses the metals. High-quality welds with minimal heat distortion and excellent aesthetic appearance are ensured. 2. MIG Welding (Gas Metal Arc Welding): MIG welding, known for its efficiency and user-friendliness, is a popular choice for stainless steel sheets. It employs a consumable electrode wire and an inert gas shield to protect the weld from atmospheric contamination. MIG welding exhibits faster speed than TIG welding and performs well on thicker stainless steel sheets. 3. Spot Welding: Joining two stainless steel sheets together, spot welding applies pressure and heat using electrodes. This technique finds common use in applications where a continuous seam is unnecessary, such as in automotive manufacturing or appliance production. 4. Plasma Arc Welding: Similar to TIG welding, plasma arc welding employs a more concentrated arc produced by a constricted nozzle. This technique allows for deeper penetration on stainless steel sheets, making it suitable for thicker materials or specialized applications. 5. Laser Welding: Laser welding, a precise and rapid technique, employs a high-powered laser beam to melt and join stainless steel sheets. It offers exceptional control over the welding process and proves suitable for thin to medium thickness stainless steel sheets. However, laser welding may require specialized equipment and expertise. The choice of welding technique depends on various factors, including the thickness of the stainless steel sheets, desired weld quality, production speed, and equipment availability. Each technique possesses its own advantages and limitations.
Q: What are the different types of stainless steel sheet surface coatings available?
Different types of surface coatings are available for stainless steel sheets, each providing unique properties and advantages. Some of the most common types are: 1. Natural Finish: Stainless steel sheets without any coating have a smooth and natural surface. This type is commonly used when corrosion resistance is essential. 2. Brushed Coating: This coating creates a distinctive brushed pattern on the stainless steel surface. It adds a decorative touch while also concealing scratches and fingerprints. 3. Mirror Coating: A mirror finish coating gives stainless steel sheets a highly reflective surface, similar to a mirror. This type is popular in architectural and decorative applications. 4. Satin Coating: Satin coatings offer a smooth and matte appearance with low reflectivity. They are often used in high-end appliances and architectural elements. 5. Bead Blasted Coating: This coating creates a uniform and textured surface by bombarding the stainless steel with small glass beads. It provides a unique visual effect and can hide surface imperfections. 6. Patterned Coating: Patterned coatings involve embossing or etching designs onto the stainless steel surface. They can create various patterns and textures, enhancing the aesthetic appeal in different applications. 7. Colored Coatings: Stainless steel sheets can be coated with different colors using processes like powder coating or electroplating. This allows for customization and adds a decorative element to the material. When choosing a surface coating for stainless steel sheets, it is important to consider the specific requirements of your application. Factors such as corrosion resistance, durability, aesthetics, and functionality should all be taken into account to ensure the best choice for your needs.
