Q: Can plastic tubes be bent or shaped?
Yes, plastic tubes can be bent or shaped to a certain extent, depending on the type and flexibility of the plastic used.
Q: I have forgotten the name of the breed altough i know it starts with sy. I just want to know if they can fit in a tube cage or will they get stuck? And what is the best breed to get if you do have a tube cage?
My fully grown hamster Kevin has no problems with tube cages, un less he has more than 3 monkey nuts in his cheeks, but still manages to get through. I have a large vertical tube going up and he loves it.
Q: I have a little bit of a project. I'm trying to figure a way to cool a pair of water filled tubing lines. I was thinking to wrap it with some type of cooling device but not quite sure what to use. Can you guys give me some ideas? I want to cool the lines as cool as refrigerator temps. Thanks.
You have not said how much heat you need to disperse - whether it needs to be a continuous process or not. You have not mentioned whether the lines are flexible or what length they are! However, without making things too complicated, if you use a longish length of plastic tubing, you could coil them and run them through a bucket full of an ice/salt/water mixture. Depending on how fast the water is moving through the tubes, if you had a strong mixture of salt and ice - with just enough water in the bucket to allow conduction - you might be able to freeze the water in the tubes - which is probably NOT what you want to do. So experiment before the performance.
Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for underground applications?
No, plastic tubes are not suitable for underground applications as they are not strong enough to withstand the pressure and weight of the soil and can easily get damaged or crushed.
Q: Can plastic tubes be easily transported?
Yes, plastic tubes can be easily transported due to their lightweight and compact design. They are often packaged in rolls or bundles, making them convenient to carry and transport in bulk.
Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for pneumatic control systems?
Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for pneumatic control systems. Plastic tubes are lightweight, flexible, and resistant to corrosion, making them an ideal choice for transmitting compressed air and controlling pneumatic components. They are also cost-effective and easy to install, making them a popular option in various industries. However, it is important to consider the specific application requirements and potential pressure limitations when selecting plastic tubes for pneumatic control systems.
Q: What are the common fittings used with plastic tubes?
Some common fittings used with plastic tubes include compression fittings, barbed fittings, push-to-connect fittings, and threaded fittings.
Q: What is the difference between rigid and flexible plastic tubes?
Rigid plastic tubes are firm and inflexible, maintaining their shape without bending or distorting easily. On the other hand, flexible plastic tubes are pliable and can be bent or twisted without breaking, allowing for more versatility in various applications.
Q: I have a tube thats plastic and after i peeled the sticker off it was all sticky. Any help?
wd 40 will work the best
Q: I adopted two new gerbils yesterday, and they are pretty well adapted so far. They live in an aquarium with a connected bin which is much larger and hold many things to chew on tons of bedding to dig in. These are two of the things they like best. Unfortunately, despite having tons of things to chew on including paper towels, wood blocks (which they don't find the least bit interesting), and cardboard (which is their favorite thing to chew on), one of my gerbils still resorts to chewing on the inside of the plastic tubes connecting the bin to the aquarium. Any ideas on how to stop it? I can't connect them any other way, and the only way they would get to the bin other than the tubes, would be for me to manually place them there (they don't trust me completely yet, but they are curious and have come up and sniffed, walked on my hand). Trying to catch them makes feel like a I'm stressing them out, and making them scared of me. What should I do?
First of all, aspen isn't good for rodent. Try using Carefresh or atleast pine. U probably think they're eating it but they aren't. They';re probably just putting it inside in their pouch to bring it to their nest or something. My gerbil does that too. So don't worry about it. Maybe you can put more bedding inside thegerbil's nest to save up some work for the gerbil. =)
