Your mobile phone should be in the list of phones that google voice will call. Also you phone should be setup in google voice that when that mobile phone calls you google voice number you do not have to enter a password. So to start a call you dial your google voice number then you will go to the google voice system directly without having to enter a password and you will hear press 2 to make a call, if you want to make a call then follow the instructions.

Q: I was wondering if i bought a phone from Virgin Mobile can i switch it to Us Cellular?: unfortunately, Virgin Mobile phones have their phones modified only to work with Virgin Mobile. You would have to purchase a phone from U.S Celluar if you wanted to use U.S Celluar service. Virgin Mobile phones have their phone modified pretty well. Hope this helps :-)

This process takes a few days. The main difference is that using your old SIM will mean that you are still using the same network. If a different network is offering the phone and/or calls etc more cheaply, take the second option with a new SIM on the new network, and your old number transfers to the new network.

Amp'd Mobile's phones are MVNO, which piggybacks off of Verizon's CDMA EV-DO network in the US or Telus Mobility's CDMA EV-DO network in Canada. CDMA does not use sim cards. Cingular's phones and network are GSM, which require a sim card in order to work. They are two completely different technologies and are not compatible with each other.
