- i was put on bed rest in my 5th month. i am still but the kind of bed rest has changed. at first i needed to lay down and eat in bed...then it was sit in reclining position most of the day...now im allowed to walk but not too much. make sure you calll your obgyn to ask her the implications of your bedrest and what you need to do to follow it. make sure you pick up a hobby tat you can do in bed or reclining. otherwise you could get a bit stir crazy. i know i did and im still annoyed with being on my butt all day. best of luck

- A pool-bed? I'm not quite sure what you are referring to. There are water-beds, but those are not recommended for younger children. My only advice would be for her parents to talk to her pediatrician about what type of bed would be best for her. He can actually prescribe a therapeutic bed which may help with the bed being covered by insurance. Good luck

- You never NEED a bed skirt. If your bed sits high then I'd suggest you not get one would look weird seeing as most skirts are designed to touch/almost touch the floor great for those ppl that like hiding stuff under their bed. My guest bedroom has a sleigh bed which is kinda high off the ground and my husband and I have a bed that I need a little step up to get into neither has a bedskirt would look kinda tacky. Depending on how high your bed sets should determine if you'd want to skirt it or not

- Hi - the thing is if you like thick bedding then this bed is not really for you. Because as you say the only thing you can do is tuck your bedding between the footboard and the mattress and obviously to be able to do this you need quite thin bedding. So, you have two options - you either get thin bedding or get another style of bed. Personally, I am like you with the thick bedding with quilts/comforters etc - so, it is not a bed I would go with. There are so many different designs on the market that you could go for - why not have a look around to see what you can see and like better to enable you to have thicker bedding? I will try to have a look to see if I can see anything that you might like, but I have to go out now - so will come back on later :)
