Q: At what age did you put your toddler to a bed? How did it work? Any falling out of bed moments?

Q: Last night i put baby to bed, well she fell off the bed.. has thid ever happened to you? i felt horrible!
There are guards, like netting, that you can put at the side of a bed. Also, lotsa people pile pillows on the floor for the child to land on. ;) ~Cindy! :)
Q: I have a double size bed and three normal size pillows with a big heart one i dont know how to make my bed
Start with the sheets. Get the bottom sheet as smooth as possible, with the corners as far under and exactly on line if possible. Top sheet: put the top edge even with the top of the mattress, smooth out and tuck the bottom under. Holding the side (left over) of the sheet out, tuck the edge at the bottomthat hangs towards the floor under the mattress, so that the side parts fall smoothly. Fold the top of the sheet down about 12. Add the comforter or bed spread. Smooth the bottom and make sure that it is an even amount at the bottom. I don't tuck it under, I like it to hang down just about 3 longer than the bottom of the mattress. I use a dust ruffle. Make sure that each side is the same length hanging off. Then place your pillows on the top portion of the the bed, on top of the comforter or bed spread. I like 4 pillows, and us two coordinating colors. Two layers of pillows with the accent pillow in the center, but you can put a pillow on each side with the third pillow in the center and the heart-shaped pillow in front of that. I hope this makes sense!
Q: I cannot decide if I should get my kids bunk beds, regular twin beds or loft beds. I have one boy and one girl (they have their own room) so they don't really need bunk beds but a few friends have suggested bunk beds for extra room for sleepovers. I like loft beds b/c my kids rooms are small and they leave extra space underneath for a bookshelf a desk or just for playing. At what age will they outgrow or not want bunk beds or loft beds and prefer a regular grown up bed. If your child has a loft bed-do they like it? any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated!
As a child, I disliked my bunk beds after about 10 because I thought they were too childish. But both my daughter and my adult sister have loft beds in their places. My sister bought it as a teenager and took it with her - it's great for extra room. My daughter has a small room, so the loft was a necessity. I bought a plain natural wood colored bed, so it won't ever look childish. She loves it, I'm not sure that she'll ever outgrow liking it.
Q: There's colored bedding on the market now. Is it safe? It's the same brand I always use just dyed different colors. I have been using the non dyed brand for about a year and kayda hasn't had any isues with it. It's the only bedding I've ever given to her. Any suggestions?
better stick with what you have your hamster is more used to it and there is no need to switch better be safe than sorry
Q: Is the landlord responsible for the cost to remove bed bugs in the state of Vermont? I read they are responsible to keep the place clean and safe... Bed bugs to me seem like they make the place not safe... You get a bite you itch it you get infected you arm get cut off (ok exaggerating but still)... So my question is he responsible for the cost to remove them?
depends on the state your in but in California they do
Q: Is it possible to transform 2 identical single beds into bunk beds? Also is it safe to do?
You would need to drill at minimum 1/2 inch holes (Centered) into the tops of the bed posts on one bed then into the bottom of the legs on the other. Glue wooden dowels or (iron or steel pins) into the holes connecting them together, Make certain the drill used is the correct size to ensure the dowels are a tight fit. Secure ALL other connection points with metal brackets and you should be good to go. Last thing you need is for the bed to come apart, so secure everything that connects together as though the bed came as one piece. If the beds have slats that support the box springs make sure to secure them too. Basically secure everything to ensure it stays together. If the head and foot boards are of different heights you'll need to cut them to uniform height. Safe is relative to how solid the beds are, so use good judgment before proceeding. BTW...I did it when my kids were younger and it worked perfectly. I worked roughly 10 years repairing furniture so that should count for something I hope.
