Calcium Silicon Powder
1. Description:
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.
Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:
(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.
(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.
(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.
(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

- I like Nu Metal some of it is really off and popping, all really dope **** that is off the hook and people hate for no ******* reason. Let the haters hate, **** them. **** those *******. Ironically, Black Metal is a huge ******* pose, everything about that genre, way more than Nu Metal. I could say the same as Death Metal, since 90 percent of the listeners would never kill someone in their lives. Way much of bigger pose than Nu Metal ever was. By the way, Rob Halford was gay, does that mean all Metal fans are gay? no. So stop assuming everyone who listens to Nu Metal only wears big pants, has spiked hair with frosted tips/dreadlocks, only wears addidas clothing, wears red caps, looks like Eminem with bleached white hair, only wears Hip Hop clothing, etc.

- i like metal. some of it's black metal... dimmu borgir- i'm obsessed with Shagrath. Cradle of Filth- Midian- great cd... other bands i like, which i don't know which metal category they fit in... Children Of Bodom, Lacuna Coil, Three Days Grace (ok, so they might not be metal, but animal i have become is a kick a.s.s. song)umm..... old metallica..... hmm.... - Q: i have been listening to metal for a few years but i still feel like there are a lot of bands i'm missing out on. currently i'm listening to bands like finntroll,sepultura, amon amarth and blood shot dawn. i'm not a huge fan of black metal but i don't listen to to that much so maybe a few black metal bands for beginners would be nice also i'm not really interested in any core bands especially grindcore. I figure im mostly in the melodic and folk stuff but i wouldn't mind getting into some of the harder bands though. if anyone can help it would be much appreciated

- Magnetism has to do with unpaired electrons. Electrons spin clockwise or counter clockwise. Generally they are paired. When they are not they create magnetism. Iron has 3 unpaired electrons and demostrates tahe greatest magnetism. cobalt and nickle also demonstrate some magnetism. Also, some of the rare earths and some alloys such as Alnico and steel. RECENTLY, several papers have been published on the use of polarized light for revealing the grain structure of metals and alloys. Hone and Pearson1 showed that by examining under polarized light a polished aluminium surface which had been anodized in a suitable electrolyte, the grain structure was revealed, differently oriented grains appearing with different brightnesses. Woodward2, by etching 'Monel' metal in a specific reagent, has found similar effects. Polished surfaces of aluminium and 'Monel' metal, being optically isotropic, do not react to polarized light as do the optically anisotropic surfaces of tin, zinc, cadmium, etc., and the above authors1,2 have attributed the optical anisotropy of the anodized aluminium and etched 'Monel' metal to the anisotropic properties of the surface film formed during anodizing or etching. Although this explanation may be correct, there is a possible alternative which involves the surface contour of the specimen, for it is well known that if pearlite is examined under polarized light no reaction occurs unless the specimen is etched. This has been shown convincingly by Baeyertz3 to be due to the presence of fine parallel grooves on the surface, formed by etching away the ferrite and leaving the cementite lamell? in relief. Furthermore, Jones4 has shown that polarization effects can be produced by deeply etching a metal surface.
