- Take the rubber band off from around the broken bracket and take the bracket out of your mouth so it stops poking you. Then call your orthodontist, they will either schedule a quick apt to glue it back on for you, or tell you to wait, whatever they think it best. Good luck!

- Sounds like they didn't glue it on right. But if it's been a couple of days since they put them on you should be able to eat whatever, just be careful. Your question had me wondering why meat would have brackets in it until I read the details lol.

- I had my top brackets put in with out the wire. - You only need to use the low profile brackets, my friend, if your computer has a low profile case. If your computer does have a low profile case, you need to remove the standard sized brackets first you'll see that there are a few screws that you would connect your monitor cable to then replace the brackets and screw the screws back in place. Edit: I've found a web page that shows you the instructions for changing the brackets.

- Did you're orthodontist give you wax for you're braces? Well she/he should have, but if you don't have any, that's ok. If you have some wax for braces, then pull of a small piece, roll it in a ball, and gently cover the wax over you're bracket, then smoosh it down, so that it is flat, and covers the whole bracket. If you don't have wax, then you can leave it alone. If it bothers you a lot, then you can just go buy wax, or something you can cover it. If you have NO other choice, cover the bracket with bread. But this is ONLY if you don't have any other choice, and the bracket is making you're lip bleed, or hurting you badly. Hope this helps, and good luck ;)
