Hoisting mechanism adopts double speed double pulley winding motor to realize low speed on heavy load and high speed on light load, and max. speed can reach 100m/minute. Start and brake are steady, impact is small, and operation is convenient. Swing mechanism adopts domestically advanced frequency conversion timing project, which makes start and brake become steady and reliable.
Horizontal Arm Frame and Trolley Radius
The tower crane adopts horizontal arm frame, load is hung in hoisting trolley, and radius is realized through horizontal movement of trolley on arm frame. Compared with luffing jib tower crane, working is steady, installation is convenient, and radius application is wide, which can make hoisting performance be fully exerted, enlarge storing range of construction materials, and make disposal of general construction ichnography be convenient.
Safety devices are complete, and there are brakes fixed in each mechanism, which can ensure working safety. There are safety protecting devices like hoisting height restrictor, trolley radius restrictor, moment restrictor, hoisting weight restrictor and swing restrictor, etc. fixed in tower crane
- Q: Is Fireplace Crane a modern term for the swing-out metal arms that hang over a fireplace for cooking? e.g. like in dutch ovens or pots/cauldrons that hang over a fire.It sounds like a more modern term and I need to know if there is an older term. Thanks.
- I can't think of older terms at the moment, but definitely 'fireplace crane' sounds modern, and possibly American, to me. In Britain I have never heard the term, not in any historical or modern setting. My idea of a crane is a big item at a dockside or on a big building site. A domestic hearth or kitchen is too nice a place to have a 'crane'!
- Q: What are the components of a tower crane? What are its main technical parameters? What is lifting torque?
- Part: foundation, tower, wall unit, excessive section, lifting mechanism, rotating mechanism, lifting mechanism, the lifting arm, a balance arm, electrical control, safety protection device etc..Main technical parameters: maximum lifting weight, amplitude and maximum amplitudeLifting torque = magnitude X maximum amplitude lifting
- Q: How about the installation and disassembly of the tower cranes?
- Authorized by the national security inspection department, the local special operations training school or the technical quality supervision bureau, after the study, assessment, qualification and graduation permit, will give you special operations installation, removal operation certificate.
- Q: Is the tower crane a special type of work?
- The crane driver, scaffolder, welders and other special types are
- Q: What i am seeing is that people are using manual digging and buckets and manually cutting through steel! If they use cranes, it would be alot faster to get to those buried. I dont belive it is unsafe, if they are meticulous.
- It's not just a matter of being meticulous. You would have to know the structure of the pile of debris to be safe.
- Q: I just made origami cranes and want to hang them up, each by themselves with just a peice of string....how should i go about doing this? how is it usually done?
- TAke a needle threaded with a long piece of black thread, and make a small knot at end of long thread. Push the needle thru the middle of the crane's back and pull the thread all the way thru the hole till the knot catches. pull the needle off the loose end of the thread and make another knot on that end. take a push pin or thumb tack and push the pin thru the knot, then push the pin or tack into the ceiling. FYI, tape never works - I have tried. The black thread lets them flutter a bit, and is invisible most of the time. p.s. ask your parents if you can hang stuff from the ceiling first. they may not want you to do that since it will leave holes in the ceiling when you take them down.
- Q: There are a range of cranes to be selected for a particular type of job. Please provide any suitable method so that we narrow down our selection criteria .
- What is the load weight? How high is the lift? Obstruction, possibly needing a jib? If you are placing a load onto a roof, how far from the edge of the roof is the load going to be placed? How far from the crane pivot is the load on the ground and how far are you going to to move the load away from the crane to place it in position? How close can you get the crane to the load and to the load placement site. The usual scenario is to call a crane outfit and they will ask you these questions over the phone or come to the site and discuss the lift with you. A crane is rated for maximum lift as close, usually 10 feet,to the cab pivot center. As the distance increases, the maximum load that can be lifted, decreases. Our 15 ton crane can pick 15 tons/ 30,000 pounds at 10 feet from pivot center. With the boom fully extended; the boom is 100 feet, at a 30 degree angle, it can pick up only 5,000 pounds. Inside of every crane cab should be a chart that shows the lift capacity at various boom angles and boom lengths. Also is included is a chart for the Jib, if the crane has one. Wingman
- Q: I'm into urban exploration and basically the one thing I haven't done is climb a crane. I don't actually know where one is that I could climb, but I definitely will do it someday. I'm just wondering how illegal it would be? Also, don't give me any it's not safe bull, I'm perfectly confident in my abilities and ready to accept the consequences if I get caught.
- Not at all if you don't get caught. However cranes are private property, you'll get your a.ss handed to you if you get caught.
- Q: I am 15 years old and into urban exploration. The only thing I haven t done yet is climb a crane. I don t want a big lecture on the dangers because I am fully aware of how dangerous it is and am also fully confident in my abilities. I am also ready to take full responsibility if I were caught. Although I know its Illegal, I don t know how Illegal it is and I would like to know the following...1. Will Crane Climbing get me charged with criminal trespassing?2. Will I get time in Juvenile?3. Is it possible that I could accidentally activate/deactivate something that would endanger the workers?4. What would happen if a worker got ahold of me?And again I feel like I need to mention that I don t want a Bull **** lecture on it not being safe. :)
- It's quite illegal. The penalties will be severe. That's nice you think you take responsibility. When you fall and injure yourself, you will not have the money to pay your medical bills, including your years on life support in a coma, etc. You'll be dumping that responsibility on everyone else. You do not just magically take responsibility by saying you do.
- Q: All these birds are bigger than wild turkey and can fly long distances.
- The Wandering Albatross has the longest wingspna at 12ft (some unconfirmed at 17.5ft) But as for average weight of the bird the ANDEAN CONDOR is the largest at an average of 28.5lbs for males.
