Aluminium foil (or aluminum foil) is aluminium prepared in thin metal leaves with a thickness less than 0.2 millimetres (8 mils); thinner gauges down to 6 micrometres (0.24 mils) are also commonly used.In the United States, foils are commonly gauged in thousandths of an inch or mils. Standard household foil is typically 0.016 mm (0.63 mils) thick, and heavy duty household foil is typically 0.024 mm (0.94 mils). Thefoil is pliable, and can be readily bent or wrapped around objects. Thin foils are fragile and are sometimeslaminated to other materials such as plastics or paper to make them more useful. Aluminium foil supplantedtin foil in the mid 20th century.

In North America, aluminium foil is known as aluminum foil. It was popularized by Reynolds Metals, the leading manufacturer in North America. In the United Kingdom and United States it is, informally, widely called tin foil, for historical reasons (similar to how aluminum cans are often still called "tin cans").Metallised films are sometimes mistaken for aluminium foil, but are actually polymer films coated with a thin layer of aluminium. In Australia, aluminium foil is widely called alfoil.

Aluminium (or aluminum; see spelling differences) is a chemical element in the boron group with symbol Al and atomic number 13. It is a silvery white, soft, nonmagnetic, ductile metal. Aluminium is the third most abundant element (after oxygen and silicon), and the most abundant metal in the Earth's crust. It makes up about 8% by weight of the Earth's solid surface.

Aluminium metal is so chemically reactive that native specimens are rare and limited to extreme reducing environments. Instead, it is found combined in over 270 different minerals. The chief ore of aluminium is bauxite.

Q: (MAKING A POPSICLE!) Ingredients:-2 ripe strawberries-1 1/2 peeled oranges-8 Ice cubes-1/2 of Peach Tea- 1 Tablespoon of SugarThen I blended it up for about 50 seconds I guess -So once the smoothie was smooth enough and almost liquidish i poured it in a plastic cupHow long should I wait for it to freeze up a bit so I can stick the popsicle stick in? Then how long should I wait after that for the popsicle to be completely ready to eat?
What a silly dumbass question! I must have gone through a good 20,000 rounds of Blazer Aluminum during the past 5 yearsAll of my brand new Glocks came from the factory with Blazer Aluminum, 'witness cases' Just so everything is kept nice and straight: Blazer Aluminum is one heck of a lot cleaner than Winchester, 'White Box'; and there is no difference in price between BA and Remington/UMC, 'Yellow Box' ammoIf I were to fault Blazer Aluminum for anything, it would be the unsealed casemouths and primer pockets Ruin your fancy SIG? Don't be ridiculousYou're talking about CCI; the same company that produces Speer, 'Gold Dots'; and only an idiot would punch paper with Gold DotsEverything in its right time and place.
Q: if i have a piece of rectangular tubing a 2x6 and am trying to bend it to a 42 1/2 inches circle the hard way what size of triangles i need to cut out and how far a part do i need to do it i know that i got take slices off pizza out of it to make it turn to a circle a true circle
So you are soaking your chicken breasts in the water? If you do it that way you are suppose to put them in a seal-able plastic bag firstSqueeze all the air out and then put the bag of chicken in the bowlIf it will defrost it or not completely depends on the thickness of the breast, is it boneless or bone in? No need for the ice in the bowl either, just change the water after 30 minutesRunning water tends to tear apart the outside of the chicken as it thaws the soonestDon't thaw on counter, no one should ever suggest thatMeat you are searing such as a steak can be out to warm up for 15 to 20 minutes so you have even cooking, but not thawing especially not poultry.
Q: I want to make some good brownies, do you know a good recipe for them?
ionic is ment to stop frizz and be kinder to your hair.
Q: We have a 1999 Trails West steel horse trailer, and the back door has rotted through. The door is basically square steel tubing welded together in a frame with a sheet of steel over the frame. It's easy enough for me to just build a whole new door instead of trying to fix this one or buy a door from Trails West, but I don't know what thickness of steel I should be using, and the door is so rotted and has flaked off shavings of rust to the point that I can't tell what thickness the original door was made out of.What thickness steel would you use for the sheet of steel? And what wall thickness would you use for the square tube?I considered making the door out of aluminum to save weight, - so if I were to go that route, again, what thicknesses of aluminum sheet/square tube would you go with the maintain the same strength that steel would offer?Bare in mind that, if going steel, I don't want to go thicker gauge than the original door, because steel is heavy, so please don't be conservative LOL.
for the silver make a paste of baking soda, take a rag and rub it around in small circles, rinse in water and repeator use toothpastefor the copper get some white vinegar add a little salt wet a rag and wipe it on, it takes time this wayyou can also use mag wheel cleaner which is faster but it is caustic and you don't need to breath it too much that will knock it off very very fast.(use with caution) and don't try it on the silver it will destroy it, however the tarnish on copper( called Nobel rust is highly prized and removing it de-values whatever you are cleaning.
Q: tooth paste dont work i cant buy silver polisher no money what can i do how do i polish it with stuff i would have around the house?
