Does anyone know where i can buy a Toshiba Li-ion Battery Pack, Model No. PA3450U-1BRS, DC 14.4 V, 2000mAh? Laptop model is Satellite L10 - 281Thanks in advance!
Yea, probably OKorder or on the actual Toshiba website or if your lucky maybe a local computer store, Bestbuy might have some, but to just buy batteries I don't see to often, everyone I've known who's bought batteries for laptops was online.
How to connect rc LiPo saddle pack batteries? Would you tell me?
You can buy some to test, generally it is banana adapter plug. Lol
cuz i got an electric snowblower. i know. it sucks! it mostly sucks because i gotta deal with a cord in the winter. it gets very hard to deal with. do they make battery packs that i can plug into it and then eliminate a cord? or is there something like that but instead of batteries, it sends a signal to a receptor plugged into the wall, eliminating the cord??thanks
You've just learned why it is not a great idea to have an electric snow shovel. That power cord is a dang nuisance! The answer to your question is not quite no. There ARE rechargeable battery devices that will supply 110VAC to operate your snow shovel; but they are heavy and not intended to be carried around. They are for emergency use of 110 VAC appliances where there is no available AC outlet. You can find them in Auto Supply stores and truck stops. They typically have both heavy-duty battery clips to connect to a car battery, as well as a standard AC power cord. This way the batteries can be charged up on the road or in a dwelling. The batteries themselves are small versions of car batteries; and as you know, they are not light. Add in the transformer to up-convert the voltage, and you've got a rather heavy device to lug around. As you might guess, this is an impractical way to operate your electric snow shovel.
I have a NIMH battery pack that is a 4.8v 1600mah. I want to replace the cells but can't find any 400mah replacement cells. Can I safely upgrade the cells to say 900mah per cell for a total of 3600mah without harming anything. The volts will be the same, just not sure how high I can go. I'm assuming all I'll have to deal with is longer charging times and that the mah difference wont matter on anything else. Am i right?
I'd just recommend buying a new pack.
i have the Droid X and i use it a lot and was wondering if there is any extended battery packs that make it last longer?
Yes there are- Verizon should be able to order one for you
I worry that never detaching battery pack from the laptop would reduce the battery lifespan or may cause damage to laptop especially when it is already fully charged and power supply is in used. Somebody advised me to remove it when it's already fully charged cause i'm using the power cord anyway. Please help!
You could remove the battery for days at a time if it was plugged in and increase the life of your battery by a small amount. You should use it on battery once or twice a week to the point of low battery warning is also advice. In reality, most of the good things you can do (vs just using the thing and not thinking about it) will increase the life maybe 10%-20%. Is that worth the trouble to you? This laptop is moved around a lot during the day, both on battery and plugged in. The battery does not come out when it is plugged in. I'm a just use it person, other than I do recommend (and usually actually do it on mine) unplugging it when not in use for longer periods. Overnight etc. Even that is said to not be NECESSARY.
