Linear Low-density Polyethylene Geomembrane Supplier

Product description

Geo-membrane is produced by a method of three layer co-extrusion model.

Geomembrane is a kind of waterproof material with basic raw material of high molecular     polymer. It is mainly divided into LDPE geomembrane,LLDPE geomembrane , HDPE geomembrane, and all kinds of composite geomembrane. They are complete in specifications: double smooth surface, double rough surface and single rough surface.

Features: Excellent environment stress resistant cracking performance and chemical erosion resistance.

Big scope of application temperature and long service life.

 features And  benifits

Ultraviolet Resistance - HDPE's resistance to UV exposure is further enhanced by the addition of carbon black. Additionally, with the absence of plasticizers, volatilization is not a problem.

Reflective Factor - Geotec offers its HDPE geomembrane in white as well as black. A white surface helps mitigate liner temperature extremes and aids visual.

Q: What are the advantages of using geotextiles in waste containment systems?
Geotextiles offer several advantages in waste containment systems. Firstly, they provide a reliable barrier to prevent the migration of contaminants from the waste site, ensuring environmental protection. Secondly, geotextiles enhance the stability and strength of the containment system by reinforcing the soil or other materials used. Additionally, they facilitate efficient drainage and filtration of liquids, reducing the risk of groundwater contamination. Moreover, geotextiles are durable, resistant to degradation, and cost-effective, making them a practical choice for long-term waste containment solutions.
Q: How do geotextiles contribute to soil separation?
Geotextiles contribute to soil separation by acting as a barrier between different soil layers, preventing them from mixing or interacting. This separation helps to maintain the stability and integrity of the soil structure, prevents erosion, and enhances the overall performance of the soil in various construction and landscaping applications.
Q: What are the specifications for geotextiles in railway projects?
The specifications for geotextiles in railway projects typically include factors such as material type, weight, strength, permeability, and durability. These geotextiles are required to have high tensile strength and puncture resistance to withstand the heavy loads and dynamic forces exerted by train traffic. They should also possess appropriate permeability to allow for effective drainage and prevent water accumulation. Additionally, geotextiles used in railway projects should be chemically stable, resistant to degradation from UV exposure, and capable of withstanding various environmental conditions.
Q: How do geotextiles help in the reinforcement of soil?
Geotextiles help in the reinforcement of soil by providing a stable and strong layer that enhances the soil's mechanical properties. They act as a barrier against soil erosion, distribute loads more evenly, and improve the overall stability and strength of the soil.
Q: How do geotextiles help with reinforcement of geogrid wall systems?
Geotextiles provide additional support and reinforcement to geogrid wall systems by acting as a separation layer between the soil and the geogrid. This helps to prevent the mixing and migration of soil particles, ensuring that the geogrid functions efficiently to retain the soil and distribute the applied loads. The geotextiles also enhance the overall stability and strength of the geogrid wall system, increasing its resistance to deformation and improving its long-term performance.
Q: What are the different geotextile installation techniques for erosion control blankets?
There are several geotextile installation techniques for erosion control blankets, including trench and backfill, stake and tension, and anchor and pin. Trench and backfill involves digging a trench along the slope, placing the erosion control blanket in the trench, and then backfilling it with soil. Stake and tension involves driving stakes into the ground at regular intervals and then securing the erosion control blanket to the stakes with tensioning devices. Anchor and pin involves using anchors or pins to secure the erosion control blanket directly to the ground. The specific technique used depends on the slope conditions and project requirements.
Q: What is the lifespan of geotextiles?
The lifespan of geotextiles can vary depending on various factors such as the quality of the material, the type of application, and the environmental conditions. However, on average, geotextiles are designed to last anywhere from 15 to 25 years.
Q: Can geotextiles be used in the protection of underground cables and pipes?
Yes, geotextiles can be used in the protection of underground cables and pipes. Geotextiles act as a barrier, preventing soil particles and fines from infiltrating the cables or pipes, thus reducing the risk of damage or blockage. Additionally, they provide support and reinforcement to the surrounding soil, minimizing the potential for settlement or shifting that could affect the underground infrastructure.
Q: Are geotextiles resistant to fire?
Yes, geotextiles are generally resistant to fire. They are typically made from materials that have high melting points and are designed to withstand exposure to heat and flames without catching fire or spreading flames. However, it is important to note that the level of resistance may vary depending on the specific type and composition of the geotextile.
