- Q: i saw a PS3 in a claw crane game at Six Flags Over Georgia i wonder how you can win it. It is possible to win it... somehow. - The crane machines work in such a way as to only make the claw strong enough to hold prizes after a certain amount of attempts so as to limit the amount of prizes taken.

- You would have to contact the crane manufacturer. Each size would have different cranes that meet that requirement, eg portable versus not portable. That's assuming those are total crane weight numbers? Or are they lifting capacities?

- The crane is balanced, with a fulcum somewhere between the ends. On one end, you have counter weight sometimes can be moved. On the end, you usually have the crane part, which can be trolleyed from the end toward the fulcum. If my memory serves me. a wheel barrow is a type 2, because the fulcum is on the end and the load is toward the middle. So this leaves you with a type 1 or 3. Try searching using the key word group lever type fulcum and I'll bet you get your answer.

Operators are most likely to be killed when a tower crane breaks (is this an overturn?) because the operator is several hundred feet up in the air in the cab. Hitting power lines can be risky to the operator if dumb but staying in the cab is likely to be safe (stepping out may kill in touching ground) Overturning a ground based crane is going to hurt someone in the area much of the time.

- Well I don't think u have anything to feel bad about. Does everyone need to be treated like some kid of a hero because they have cancer? I think that is stupid. With all the people in the world everyone is gonna dislike someone. A ***** is a ***** no matter what disease she may have. After you fold 1000 cranes I think you are supposed to make a wish. Now if you wished that there was something that would remove her from your class, then I would feel guilty.But other than that I don't think you have anything to feel bad about. Or if you were really hard on her too but don't think that jut because she has cancer that she can be a ***** and everyone has to worship her. That is just bullshit. If she gives **** than she must be prepared to take ****. And as for giving them to her, I think it would be a nice gesture, but just think about it. What would you do if someone gave u a thousand paper birds? I think very few people would keep them. Now I don't know if you are supposed to give them away, but if you are, I think you should ive them to someone who means something to you personally and not because they have a disease. It is human nature to not like someone and just because they have cancer it shouldn't change that unless this experience has made them a better person and all that **** that you always hear about. The project and the safety supervisor and the mechanical management personnel who have the safety inspection certificate;2, with special construction operation qualification certificate of construction, lifting machinery, installation, demolition workers, lifting signal workers, lifting drivers, cable operators and other special operations personnel.And an electrician.
- Q: Just curious... I'm not in construction and always wondered...
- The top sections of the mast beneath the crane are removed one at a time and lowered to the ground. The top section of the crane has hydraulic rams that lower it down one mast section at a time. It is hard to describe without a diagram or photos. See photos at attached link. In some design, the jacking portion is at ground level. The crane jacks itself up so a 20' section of the mast can be unbolted and slide out. Then the jack is lowered so the process can be repeated.
