Q: I read this on the TSA website, do I have to follow this with my loose rechargeable AA batteries? Do I need to separate the batteries? How should I pack them?Place each battery in its own protective case, plastic bag, or package, or place tape across the battery's contacts to isolate terminals. Isolating terminals prevents short-circuiting.
If you have the original 4 pack, 6 pack, 8 pack in which the batteries came packaged, then put the batteries into that, and tape it closed. If not, then just wrap a piece of tape around the group of batteries to hold them together, then put a piece of tape across one end of that entire group. Does not matter which end. If you have lots of batteries, then you may want to make two or more groups. The point is to prevent any possibility of a short circuit and either a spark, or a battery becoming very hot through a very fast power drain. If you tape over all of the positive terminals, for instance, that cannot happen. Once you do that, you can pack them in either carry on or checked bags.
Q: I think it's impossible! This is surely a stupid question, it just doesn't explain it anywhere. Are they stuck in there?
Just shake the battery pack up and down. The batteries should slide right out. They're designed to stay in the pack tightly so that they do not rattle and make annoying noises, and so when you take the battery pack off, they don't just fall on the floor. But with a simple shake, they should just come out.
Q: I bought a battery pack for a Game Gear (old sega handheld system) and it came with two parts the wall adapter and the battery pack that it connects to charge it and the charge light won't come on and it was practically new this item was something that was sold years ago is there something wrong with it or do I need to replace the battery part inside if so how do I do that??
Check the power outlet first, if it is working or not. Then the charger. If it don't light, it is the charger.
Q: I have 3 Phottix battery pack for my 3 Canon Speedlite 600ex-rt and I am wondering about getting a full charge out of them. When I am charging them up after a while the red light will turn green showing that they are done charging, but if I unplug them for a second or two and plug them back it the light will be red again for another 10 minutes or so. Is this helping it get more of a charge or not? Thanks
No it is best to charge until the light changes green and leave it at that. Many rechargeable have memories and the frequent charging cuts done on the entire life of the battery. It is best to use that age old rule regarding batteries--------READ THE MANUAL.
Q: i got a camera about a month ago.i charged it till the green light went on and than it says to change the battery pack!!!! what does it mean??!!!!! what should i do??!!!
Cannon Cameras Suck, i have own 3 already believe me i know what i am saying. I got me a Kodak and never had an issue.
Q: When is the middle of the battery to add the dotted line? What is the battery pack of two batteries?
The middle of the dotted line that more than two batteries or do not know how many batteries.
Q: I was told today by a friend that the battery in my Dell laptop has a predetermined number of times it can be charged and if I exceed that number of charges the battery dies. Therefore, I was advised to remove the battery any time I'm using the A/C power. Is this true? Thanks!
get rid of vista if you plan on playing games, this would be a wrong choice with the intel graphics card. try to look for a model with a nvidia video card. your best bet is for the xps series. also, go with the larter 9 cell battery if you want a decent battery life. with the 6, you'll get about 1.5 hours battery time after about 2 months. with the 9, you will get about 3 hours or more.
Q: I have an XBOX 360 battery pack, and it doe's not work. when ever I put the charger on the controller, the controller just does nothing, but the controller does work, but when I leave for a long time, it's still not charged. What can I do ?
you may need to bring it to gamestop or where ever you got it and they might try to fix it
Q: I have a 12v monitor and a 12v spy camera could I hook them up to a 12v battery pack with a dc splitter, or would there be issues. But I also have a 8v spy camera, is there a easy way to hook it up to a 9v battery?
You need a 12 v pack with enough current to operate them both for some period of time. So you need to know how much current they use in a given hour. They should spec their power usage in watts. So you divide that by 12. That will give you their current draw for one hour. Then, if you want them to operate, say for 8 hours, you need a battery pack with an output of a little more than their total current drain over that time. Say they draw 1 watt each, so that is 16 watts over 8 hours. 16 w/12 v is 1.33 amp/hours. So, in this case, you would want a battery pack capable of at least 1.5 amp/hours. The 8 volt unit is much the same. You need to know it's current drain per hour and then you need a 9 v battery with a high enough amp/hour output to run it for how long it will be on. A simple small 9 v battery won't have enough power to even turn it on, much less, run it for any time at all. You would be better off to use the 12 v supply (if big enough) to run all 3 and just use a current limiting resistor in the 8 v line.
Q: One of the battery pack to die, and a piece of it?
Because in the circuit, any place where the current is equal.
