Q: the famous Bird Girl statue has an additive or subtractive techique?
Subtractive sculpture involves cutting away hard materials to make an image. This was not the case for the Bird Girl sculpture. It was originally a plaster cast, meaning that it accords to the concept of an additive technique as one were soft materials are used (wax, plaster, plasticine) and details can be easily added or changed. So, although four bronze statues were produced from the plaster original, I would still say that the work was produced by means of an additive technique. Check out the defintions at these sites: . .
Q: Which expression is the multiplicative identity of -3(a ? b)? A.0 B. 1 C. 3(a ? b) D. -3a + 3b
The product of a number and its multiplicative identity just returns the original number. So the multiplicative identity of any number is 1. We can justify this by saying that any number (except zero) divided by itself is 1: a/a 1 and therefore a 1*a. The additive inverse is the number that when added to the original number gives zero. In other words, it would be the negative of the original number. The additive inverse for -3(a-b) is -(-3(a-b)) 3(a-b).
Q: Please explain your answer.
It's possible, but I don't see it as a singled-out, primary factor. Some improvements by themselves would be unnoticeable. The government did a study of oil intervals - in an attempt to figure out how to stretch them longer. There's a good bit of interesting reading on the site I posted below. I use Engine Sentry in my Harley, and my car and truck. (Looking at the first one I ran through my Harley was scary and it got me doing it to all my vehicles.) You've also gotten some good sites above this answer.
Q: ive seen a lot of fuel treatment additives on the shelfs.I want to know what is a good one to use on a chevy 350! i know i have to use the ones for carbs and i know quite a bit about fuel additives, but i want to know which is the best one for a chevy 350. I want to keep the build up off of my pistons and values, to keep the engine running smooth. It runs good right now, but i want to keep it that way! please give me some names and if possible, prices! Thanks a lot-)
Good question, the best fuel additive on the market and has been for nearly 70 years is Marvel Mystery Oil fuel additiveget it at any auto parts store for about $3.50 roughly a bottlethoroughly cleans fuel injectors, valves, fuel system and removes water and impurities from your gasolinewill keep your car/truck idling smoothI have been using it since 1961.(Marvel has been in business since the 1940s)******
Q: How many kinds of additives are included in the drink
Caffeine (other)
Q: Also, I do a ton of laundry, should I have the water from my washer pumped somewhere else? I have never lived in a house with a septic system I do use bleach, but I‘ve tried my best to minimize the use of chemicals. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
No, have it pumped bi annually. That stuff does work but it send solids into your leach fields anyway. Most septic companies discourage using it because you get a false sense of security and stop pumping your septic tank. Then one day it's too late the damage has been done and you need new leach fields. $$$ You can use bleach but do not use liquid fabric softener it plugs the ground in the leach fields. Use bounce.
Q: I remember my friend gave me a dark cigarette which he called clove, and God, it tasted like heaven. My lips tasted so sweet after I smoked it. I heard it has more natural tobacco and less chemical additives. Is that right?
I can vividly remember having that smoke blown into my ear and my Dad making fun of me cause he said it was coming right out of the other ear on the other side (meaning there was nothing in the middle). I don't recall which cause he smoked both ways. My Mom; however, was a firm believer in clove oil for everything. She would warm it up and pour it into our hurting ear. Did it help? Who knows. lol
Q: Why do cigarettes have all those additives and where can i get a list of what additives are in a cigarettegt;
Some for flavour, some make burn faster etc. Not know all reasons. Link: The list of 599 additives approved by the US Government for use in the manufacture of cigarettes is something every smoker should see. Submitted by the five major American cigarette companies to the Dept. of Health and Human Services in April of 1994, this list of ingredients had long been kept a secret.
Q: object colour: magentaligh colour : green why is the light colour reflected black!!!????????object colour: yellow light colour: blue why is light colour reflected black???i dont understand!!!
Our eyes have receptors for red, blue and green. With these kinds of colour receptor we can sense millions of different colours. Subtractive colour theory has the primaries red, yellow and blue; secondaries colours green, purple and orange made by combining 2 primaries. However you are talking about shining a light and looking at what reflects back, so additive colour theory is more appropriate here. Additive colour primaries are red, green, blue (yes the same as the receptors in our eyes, not a coincidence); additive secondaries are yellow, cyan and magenta (same colours used as transparent inks in full colour printing, once again not a coincidence). Magenta is made by adding red light to blue light, note that green is missing. Therefore if you shine a magenta light onto a green coloured object, there is no colour of light that the object can reflect back, so it appears black.
Q: what is find the additive inverse of 1/3??
There are 2 kinds of inversesAdditive and Multiplicative. Additive inverse means you should get 0 as your result or sum and Multiplicative means having 1 as your product. so you should just get the number that when added to 1/3 will make the sum 0. you could simply do it mentally or equate it to 0 since you are looking for an unknown.: x+1/30 x -1/3 (transposed 1/3 to get the value of x) that's all. ^_^
