- Q: how to find the additive inverse of *square root* 3 then add 5?
- the additive inverse is just the negative. so the additive inverse of sqrt3 + 5 is - sqrt3 - 5
- Q: it seems like they‘re the same thing but i keep getting them confused and yeah i have a midterm tomorrow and i want to make sure i don‘t get it confused. thanks :)
- Additive Property Of Zero
- Q: Please explain.
- No, you cant because theyre curved.I dont know what youre trying to do.If you want to lift the body up you have to put risers on the springs.Hope this helps. If you dont know what im talking about call your local auto parts dealer. He knows.
- Q: i want roll your own tobacco that has no chemicals added anyone know of a ‘natural‘ brand?
- You can buy prepackaged Natural American Spirit cigarettes in a lot of gas stations. They have the picture of the indian on the front. There is NO additives, because nicotine is found naturally in the plant, hence, it's not an additive. Also in smoke shops they sell the roll-your-own version of Natural American Spirit, if you feel like rolling your own cigs. The only other 100% natural, no additive free cigarettes that I've seen are Nat Sherman Naturals, and I've only seen these at Smoker Friendly and some random cigar shops.
- Q: Is it really true that Additives & stimulants help for quality growing? ?
- Plants, unlike animals, lack glands to secrete hormones and other vital substances that are necessary for growth. These substances affect the plant's time of flowering, seed growth, leaf formation, longevity, and fruit development and ripening. Plants use these essential nutrients only at specific times of their growth. At times, it becomes necessary to stimulate their growth by externally adding hormones, vitamins, and other nutrients. Many of these external products work as growth enhancers, and are used to reduce harvest time, increase yield, or hasten blooming. Some additives help to remove excess nutrient salt, which can otherwise be toxic for the plant. Hormones and stimulants may also help to boost the plant's immunity and increase the lifespan. All depends on you.good luck
- Q: what is additive and subtractive colors?
- Additive and subtractive colors has to do with color perception. Pigments (coloring in objects) reflect the color that you perceive. So for example a red square appears red because it predominantly reflects red light. If you took that pigment and mixed it with a blue pigment you get purple, if you add green pigment to that you would get a dark grey. Pigments are subtractive colors. But with light, if you take red light and blue light and combine them you get magenta light, and its brighter than either individual beam because you have twice the amount of light. If you were to add green light to that, you'd get white light and again it would be a brighter beam. Light is additive.
- Q: According to the European commission, food additives are substances added intentionally to food to perform certain technological functions, like to color, to sweeten or to preserve. Food additives can also do more then that, which can be a bad thing. Though food additives can make food look better and even last longer, food additives can create antibiotic resistance, food allergies and hyperactivity. The worst thing about food additives is that it creates antibiotic resistance in humans. This means it will resist any antibiotic that you will take and many people can become immune to important medicines that could have saved their lives. How all this happens is “Giant agricultural businesses pack together cattle by the hundreds to thousands, necessitating the use of germ-fighting antibiotics that we end up swallowing.” (Hawaleska). This result of their care could affect a lot of people. is this good?
- If this is for a school report, you may want to cite a specific reference or two when it comes to supporting the claim that food additives can eventually create super germs(since you state that they will have antibiotic resistance). If there were any studies done my colleges or hospitals on this. You want to list their findings if it offers some sort of evidence to back up what you're writing.
- Q: I have no clue how to do this.A function is additive if f(a+b)f(a)+f(b) for all a and b in its domain and multiplicative if f(ab)f(a)f(b) for all a and b in its domain.Which of the following functions are additive and which are multiplicative? Justify your answers1. f(x)sqrt x2. f(x)sinx3. f(x)1/x4. f(x)e^x5. f(x)x^36. f(x)3xThanks so much!
- It tells you in the definition what to do. Just put in some numbers, and see if they check out. No. 6 says f(x) 3x. Put a 2 and b 3. f(a) 6 and f(b) 9. So f(a) + f(b) 6 + 9 15 And f(a + b) f(5) 15. Which checks. So f(x) 3x is additive. No 1. says f(x) √x Choosing carefully, let a 9 and b 16. f(a) √9 3 ; f(b) √16 4 f(a) + f(b) 3 + 4 7 And f(a + b) f(9 + 16) f(25) 5. Which does not tally. The function is not additive. f(a) x f(b) √9 x √16 3 x 4 12 And f(a x b) f(9 x 16) f(144) √144 12 - check. The function is multiplicative. Just do the same for the rest.
- Q: My kittens are both 8-9 months old. I am introducing them to teeth-brushing, but they don‘t seem to care for it too much. I‘m using CET poultry flavored + their double-sided brush. Right now, I‘m just swiping it across their teeth to let them get used to the flavor and the sensation or whatever. When I was purchasing it from the vet, the cashier told me to instead get a water additive, but it contained Xylitol, which people are still arguing over whether or not it‘s bad for cats.
- The Greenies and CET chews, and teeth brushing are great. Also try Biotine water additive or gel. A food that is good is called Hill's T/D. You can feed it exclusivley, or feed a few with the normal food or as a snack. Your cat may also need occasional dental cleanings. February is dental health month, and most clinics offer discounts on dental cleanings. Your cats are young enough that you should not need cleanings for another 2-3 years hopefully. EDIT- I checked at work today, and the Biotine water additive and gels do not have xylitol in them.
- Q: Whats the additive inverse of -3.?
- additive inverse is the number which when added to the given number gives sum as zero Therefore the additive inverse is 3 -- Answer (because -3 + 30)
