1.Desription

Aluminium is theoretically 100% recyclable without any loss of its natural qualities. According to the International Resource Panel's Metal Stocks in Society report, the global per capita stock of aluminium in use in society (i.e. in cars, buildings, electronics etc.) is 80 kg (180 lb). Much of this is in more-developed countries (350–500 kg (770–1,100 lb) per capita) rather than less-developed countries (35 kg (77 lb) per capita). Knowing the per capita stocks and their approximate lifespans is important for planning recycling.

Recovery of the metal via recycling has become an important use of the aluminium industry. Recycling was a low-profile activity until the late 1960s, when the growing use of aluminium beverage cans brought it to the public awareness.

Q: the tubing is at least 8 - 10 years oldhow do i bring the luster back to aluminum tubing???
You can consult a dentist on that if you are having financial problemThey can diagnose and refer to specialists if neededWhy not you consult a dental implant expert insteadYou don't need to go back to the same implant specialistYou can schedule an appointment with another dental implant specialist also and they can diagnose the problem in a better way as they deal with the implants and its after problemsThere are many dental implant clinics where you can find low rates so why not go there?
Q: They appear to have been cast - only the rounded top is shiny, as if they were cast in tiny moldsMost are round, about 5/16 diameter and about 1/8 thick, all identicalA few are the same metal and thickness, but rectangular, about 3 x 5/16 inchI could try to get a density but the cross-section is not rectangular.
Measure the weight of a bunch of themThen take a beaker filled to a certain levelDrop in the items and note the change in volumeUse enough to get a reasonable change in volume, you don't want to be measuring (if you can) 10.0 mL to 10.8 mL but I don't know how many you haveCalculate the density using the mass and change in volume Al has a densty of 2.7 g/cm3, Mg has a density of 1.74 g/cm3, Ti has a density of 4.5 g/cm3 Should be easy to tell which one you have.
Q: When cooking split peas, I was told to use a small sterling silver or glass bowl covered with aluminum or a glass top.I was told any glass that is safe for the oven is safe for use in a pressure cooker. So I got a small baking glass pot with glass top and was about to use it,Then I find the baking glass pot directions say not to use it on the stove topSo is this still safe to use in the pressure cooker or not? Anybody with experience?I don't want to use stainless steel because I can't find any small with top and I don't use aluminum because it's toxic. Thanks
I can only say this once: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EVER PUT GLASS IN A PRESSURE COOKER ON HEAT!!! :-o First, glass (corningware, glass bakeware, etc.) has been known to explode due to temperature fluctuationsYou can google thisThere have been lawsuits and severe injuriesGlass/corningware can NEVER go on a stove top everNext, while pressure cookers are getting safer, due to their nature of being a pressure cooker, they can still be very dangerous!!! My mom used them all the time, and one time while she was in the kitchen at the sink with the pressure cooker on the stove, the thing explodedLiterally, the lid broke off by itself and hit the ceiling and all the ingredients went flyingIt almost gave her a heart attackImagine if there was glass in itoh my godPlease don't EVER put glass in one.
Q: How many electrons will each element gain or lose in forming an ion? The elements are Calcium (Ca), Flourine (F), Aluminum (Al), and Oxygen (O).
Ca loses 2 electrons to become Ca2+ F gains one electron to become F1- Al loses 3 electrons to become Al 3+ O i think it gains 2 electrons
Q: Hello,I am in the act of trying to go green, recycling has now become a part of my daily life and I am in the process of starting a green campaign at my schoolSince recycling all plastic, office paper, aluminum, and glass, I have found that my trash bags are filled primarily with used paper towels, paper plates, and used sugar packetsDoes anyone have an eco friendly option for these leftovers? I have heard of people composting used paper products but it concerns me that will all of the chemicals put into paper towels, bleach etcthat maybe that would be bad for the soil and waterways, therefore taking out the benefit of composting and in turn polluting the ground and food from my gardenDoes anyone have any experience doing this? Personal advice will be much appreciated!Thank you,- Karah.
My college is trying to go green and they compost all the paper towels and paper platesPaper towels are made of recycled fibers, so used paper towels break down very easilyThis method can be implemented to create mulch to use in gardensSome waste disposal companies, like Waste Management, will accept paper towels as yard waste and use it in a similar fashion.
