- My sons shared a bunk bed an this is what I learned: A bunk bed is the size of a twin mattress: 39 wide by 76 long. Bunk beds do not have box springs. Some bunk beds have ample support in the platform where the mattress rests and can accommodate a regular twin mattress. Other bunk beds require bunk bed mattresses, which have their own support system built into the bottom section of the actual mattress. Hope this clarifies the difference between the two.
- Q:Anyone who has, or their children have, a captains bed...was it a good investment? Im getting my 4 yr old a bed (currently in a toddler bed)...i found a captain's bed i really like, but it is $349. It is well made, and sturdy, but i was really only planning on spending maybe 300 total, including mattresses. Now with this bed, plus bunky board, and mattress i will be at over 500. Is it a good investment? Did you notice them being sturdier than just a headboard/footboard? Thumbs up or down? Thanks!
- I had a captains bed that really sucked, it was one large drawer that wasn't on a track so it was very hard to get out if anything was in it. Later I had one that was great and it can save a lot of space Load the drawers with heavy objects and see how easy it is to move them. On the other hand you can get under the bed storage containers that are plastic now, and those might be easier to clean.... if something were to get left in them and get icky.
- Q:Just a little clarification needed. I'm seeing rooms with 1 double bed and 2 double beds. What does that mean?
- A double bed is bigger than a single bed but smaller than a queen. 1 or 2 is the number of them in the room

- You can't see bed bugs! And they only come out at night. I wouldn't worry. Unless you start to notice strange bumps or bites on your skin. This doesn't mean your bed is dirty, sometimes bugs just happen to get into the house and near the bed. It's always good to change your bed's cover and sheets though. But you're fine! :)

- Remove the wooden boards and do manual work to make flower pots. They are hung on the balcony.Or simply ask for the scrap to be taken away.

- It's impossible to tell without seeing your bedroom. From what I know good feng shui is more dependent on the location of the bed and which direction your bedroom or bed is facing. My advice is to go with what you like best. You won't be happy with a bed you don't like no matter how good the feng shui is.
