- There are a few products out there that will act as a band aid, there success depends on preparation of the surface you plan to use it on, clean and rough works better than dirty and smooth, most all of the better ones will be a 2 part epoxy like JB weld, Liquid steel, some come in a putty form like Marine tex, another product called Q Bond is a powder form activated by a cyanide glue, all work pretty well and as advertised, some are formulated for high heat use which is the one you will preferably be looking for, most all auto parts stores will have good selections of these band aids, but as I said your success will depend on your preparation.
