- Q: Recently it moves from side to side a bit when you are driving. I has a horrible screeching sound when you drive. and it has a popping sound to it. I've been told it was the bearings. Possible the brakes too. I really don't want to give up on this classic car. So could anyone tell me or give me links to how to fix up the car. PRETTY PLEASE. - Basically, you've just reduced the load that the bearing can carry by about 50% and subjected each individual ball to almost double the force it originally carried. Yes, the reduction in the number of balls will cause the bearings to spin faster without a load, but since there are fewer balls and they are not evenly distributed, the outer races could distort and cause the bearing to become out of round. Basically you will have to replace the bearings more often, negating savings that the reds will give over better performing bearings.

- Q: i had abec 5s bearings on my longboard, and a friend told me that bones swiss black bearings would be faster. i dont do tricks on my board i just cruise around. so i bought them for about 50 bucks. i put them on my sector 9 wheels and i spun them. with the abec 5s my 2 back wheels spun for about 35 seconds each and the 2 front ones spun for about 20. now they all spin for about 15 seconds each with the swiss bearings! and these are supposed bones swiss! are they messed up? do i have to grease them a bit first? or am i using the wrong wheels? until then im using my Abec 5s
- Check to see if the bearings are seated correctly in the wheels. If that's not it, check to see if the nuts that hold the wheels on are too tight. If you loosen them a little, the wheels should spin better. You should also have 1 washer on each side of the wheel. This prevents the bearing from touching the truck and slowing it down. How long have you had the bearings? It usually takes a few week before they start to spin their best, once some of the oil they are packaged with dries out a little.

- Really no difference. Neoprene shields are a little easier to get out if you are going to clean or relube the bearings but you only have to take one out per bearing and only do it one time (since you don't reinstall the one you removed).

- do no longer trouble with ceramics, merely get some white lithium grease and coat the bearings in it. additionally, unfastened spin does no longer propose something. My bearings all spin for decrease than 5 seconds, does not trouble me any.
