Q: Bowl buckle type steel pipe scaffold and fastener type scaffolding comparison, which is good stability: Fastener type stability is good, and now very few bowl buckle type.

Q: I have my tragus pierced and I have a cartilage piercing. I was wondering if the pain is comparable to these. Is it worse? Less? And do most places pierce with the clamps or do they just put it through?: don't have my tragus but am planning on getting it...I have a scaffold piercing and a cartalage...of corse everyones pain threshold is different....but with my experience the scaffold piercing was the worst of of all my piercings....I'm not gunna lie it hurts...its not even when they do it...like it hurts but not awful :/...the second hole hurts worse...I did my own cartalage so it didn't rlly even bother me...idr...just be prepared for the healing process....I got mine. Or 9 months ago and it still hurts :/ if I get hit in it it effin hurts! But its an awsome piercing and I would never take it out and I love it so if you wanna get it deff go for it just be prepared to take care of it :) and it actually depends on the place if they use clamps or not mine did (they didn't hurt) :)

Q: how can you tell is a scaffolding piercing is infected?: Excessive redness extending well beyond the piercing area, hot to the touch, yellow/green pus with an odor.

Q: Okay well it's been 4 weeks now and I think that the front part is infected I'm not sure. But just next to the piercing there's a bump in my ear and puss comes out, but it's not that much. How can I tell if it is infected? And if it is, is there anything I can do about it? Thanks. :): It may be getting infected, I would just put alchoal on a Q-tip and rub it on at night and in the morning. Good luck (:

Q: I'm 15 atm, I want either an industrial piercing now or a scaffold piercing that I can connect later. I may be getting a scaffold piercing instead, seeing as school regulations here probably won't allow a full industrial. It might just be a phase but I've wanted one for a while, and if I don't like it I can always just keep the scaffold piercing if I decide to get that.What I'm wondering is: Are there any people who have an industrial? does it annoy you? does it get infected easily? and how long did it take to fully heal?I'd appreciate all answers, even if you only know someone with one. Thanks in advance.: Very RARELY do piercings actually get infected. There's a host of different irritations and mishaps that can happen to your piercing that will cause redness and swelling and weeping, but they're not really infections. Keeping your piercing clean, and not wearing tight hats, headbands, or helmets, sleeping on your piercing, and just generally babying your piercing will keep it happy and devoid of irritation. As for being annoying, mine is fine, now, but it was kind of a pain when I first got it done. Granted, I got 10 gauge holes punched out of my ear, so my healing was a BIT more involved, but the typical timeframe for a cartilage piercing to heal is at least 6 months. I also got pierced on the side I sleep on, but getting one of those travel pillows works great for sleeping with healing cartilage piercings. Good luck!
