Q: has anyone done this? Does this work out really well?thanks,Chad: I don't see why not. It would certainly be sturdy enough, just be sure to secure it to the tree. I've known guys that have made them out of electrical conduit so I don't see why scaffolding wouldn't work.

Go to another piercer to have them fit jewelry to you.

Bars that are the wrong size can put pressure on the piercings and cause them to migrate, deform, form keloids, or at the least be very sore. Just pop into your piercer and order the right thing! If you mean what would match to be worn with it, not in it then just about any body jewlery will look fine.
