Metal Gear Solid fans?Ive never been into mgs but I hear that mgs4 is awsome, so instead of just going and buying mgs4 people are telling me to get the Metal Gear Solid Essentials Collection first so i understand the story line. The problem is i just got the first metal gear solid for the ps1 and theres no point in buying the Metal Gear Solid Essentials Collection and getting another one.

i remember my teacher saying in class that copper is diffrent from most metals cuz it can be wanting to gain or lose electrons.... something cuz metal and metal is covalent bonding ...and metal nonmetal is ionic bonding.
I was kind of confuzzed about the differences between these genres! You don't have to explain every single one of them but just the ones that you know! * 1 Alternative metal * 2 Avant-garde metal * 3 Black metal * 4 Christian metal * 5 Crust punk * 6 Death metal * 7 Doom metal * 8 Drone metal * 9 Extreme metal * 10 Folk metal * 11 Funk metal * 12 Glam metal * 13 Gothic metal * 14 Grindcore * 15 Groove metal * 16 Industrial metal * 17 Metalcore * 18 Melodic death metal * 19 Neo-classical metal * 20 Nintendocore * 21 Nu metal * 22 Post-metal * 23 Power metal * 24 Progressive metal * 25 Rap metal * 26 Sludge metal * 27 Southern Metal * 28 Speed metal * 29 Stoner metal * 30 Symphonic metal * 31 Technical death metal * 32 Thrash metal * 33 Traditional heavy metal * 34 Viking metal

What is up with these subgenres in metal like screamo, emo, punk, CORE etc.? Why is metal so ****** up; nowadays? Why can we turn back the clocks to the days of classic thrash real metal like slayer, exhorder, anthrax, pantera, sepultura, Meshuggah, metallica (before St. Anger), Judas Priest, Exodus, etc. Now that's true music.
Symphonic metal and melodic metal are metal in the more traditional sense (ie: think Judas Priest, but more technical). Symphonic death metal and melodic death metal are just like symphonic metal and melodic metal, just applied to death metal (i.e: think Cannibal Corpse, but more technical.)

I think Despised Icon and Evanescence are definitely metal. It was probably some 13 year old who said they weren't I have no f*cking clue what genre Rammstein is. I think they are considered metal, but that's the least metal, metal band I've ever heard. Blue Oyster Cult and Deep Purple get left out all the time in early metal discussions....they get put aside as blues infused hard rock bands, but I consider them the founders of metal. I'm starting to get annoyed by all the genre classification madness, In Flames changed to a more metalcore sound. Does that make them Melodic Death Metalcore? I wouldn't doubt if some would agree. But genre classification is really annoying and unecessary.
