Q: I remember seeing an RV a while backI can't remember what it was called and can't remember the lengthI remember that it was called something like quot;slip streamquot; or something like thatI know it's not Gulf Stream, those are airplanesI'm pretty sure the second word of the company was quot;streamquot; but not 100% sureCan someone name all companies they know of that have a similar name? Thanks :)
I don't recall as I've heard them called filet, but if it's anything like a regular London Broil, then a slow cooker is your only optionThose things are as tough as bootsA slow cooker with only about 3 tblsof water softens them up a lot.
Q: How would you protect people near the production line in a aluminum foil plant?
Protection from what? If they are near the smeltering, they would need thermal clothes that protect them from the heatIf you're afraid of paper cuts from the aluminum foil, then they would wear glovesEye protection is almost always necessary, so a good pair of goggles would be expected.
Q: How does an electrical generator actually produce electrons? I understand the fact that there are two magnets, one facing north, the other facing south, which creates a magnetic field which will keep electrical current in place, I also understand that there is a conductive loop of wire, such as copper or aluminum that rotates on a shaft between the two magnetsWhat I don't understand is how electrons are actually being produced? Are they being somehow sucked in from surrounding atoms, such as the air, if so, how does this exactly work? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Best to pour it out on a bowl and keep it inside the fridge.
Q: I lined the foil on the base of my oven to prevent drips (shiny side up)I preheated the oven to 32 degreesThree minutes later I smell fumesso I look in the oven and the foil is bubbling and meltingI waited for it to cool a little bit, ripped the foil out and there was still the middle piece stuck on the bottom of the oven. There is no grease, its a new ovenso a degreaser wont workAny ideas? Apparently some ovens cant handle the aluminum foil, but I dont get why.Really bothering meMy landlord is going to kill me.
This isn't going to be easy but after my wife did this to a brand new oven I'll share what I didYou need to understand that you will never get the bottom pan of the oven to look like this never happenedThe foil has now formed a mechanical bond with the oven - like in weldingSo even doing what I suggest will only remove the foil and it will leave the bottom of the oven with permanent marks1If your oven pan - the bottom part of the oven can be removed do thisIf you have a convection oven you may have to remove the fan covering2If you can't remove the pan then you need to be VERY carefulYou should be sure to have lots of fresh air into the kitchenYou should wear rubber gloves and eye protection3Buy some Easy Off oven cleaner - the kind with a pump not a spray! 4Easy Off is very corrosive to aluminum5Squirt a small amount to a little area at one time - if the pan is out of the oven, do this outside when its warm-in the shade6The EO will start to foam - gently - as it eats the foil away7Use a small metal screw driver to gently rub the area back forthThis will help move the foil surface away from the oven pan8This will take awhile so don't rushIt might take you a couple of hours - and yes you can do it in steps9When you are all done wash the area and let it dry10The foil will be gone but the bottom of your oven will have permanent scars where the foil was11If you want to restore the oven bottom to as new, then you will need to buy a replacement, but that only works IF the bottom pan is removableIf the bottom pan is not removable - better hope the landlord doesn't noticeThis worked really well for me, Good luck with yours.
Q: can i put a pot pie on a round oven try instead of a cookie sheet ?? this round oven tray has holes in it, but they are small tiny holesi don't have a regular cookie trayi'm 21, my moms asleep so i'm just trying this on my ownplease help, do you think i will start a fire ? i don't wnat to.
The purpose of the tray is to, one provide support for when it's time to take the pie out of the ovenAnd the other is to catch the drippings that will bubble overIf the round tray is strong enough use it, but put aluminum foil on the oven rack directly under the tray so you Mom won't be upset at having to clean the oven.
Q: Is it safe and practical to use aluminum foil for cooking food?

Yes, aluminum foil can be used to cook food. It's commonly used for wrapping, covering, or lining pans to prevent food from sticking and to retain moisture. Aluminum foil is also used for making packets or pouches to steam or bake food, known as 'en papillote'. However, it's important to note that aluminum foil should not be used with acidic foods or at high heat for extended periods, as this can lead to the foil breaking down and potentially releasing aluminum into the food. Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines and use aluminum foil as recommended for cooking.

aAs- Arsenic bP- Phosphorus cAl- Aluminum dGa- Gallium eCa- Calcium How I got these answersGroups number of valence electrons with the exception of groups 3-12 which are the transition metals Group 1 have one valence electron Group 2- have two valence electrons Groups 3-12 vary, these are the transition metals Group 13 have 3 valence electrons Group 14 have 4 valence electrons Group 15 have 5 valence electrons Group 16 have 6 valence electrons Group 17 have 7 valence electrons Group 18 have a full outer layer, all have 8 valence electrons except Helium which has only 2 which makes it's outer most level fullPeriods Valence Levels (how many rings are around the element filled with electronsHope this helps you understand how to do these
Q: I need some help for a science projectDo you guys know what substances (that you can find around the house) that are essentially elemental? No compounds or mixtures please! You know, like copper in a penny (well, back in the old days) or helium in a balloon? There's a catch to thisIt has to be objects that no one would think of, not common stuff like aluminum foil and whatnotsI'm lostHelp?
copper in the electrical wire in the walls gold on electrical contacts in computers and high-end speakers americium in smoke detectors radon in the air of the home (leakage from the ground) silicon in computer chips maybe try aluminum but not as Al foilAl power is an ingredient in solid Dranophotogrey lenses of glassesWhen they darken in sunlight, that is due to finely divided silver being madeI'll leave you to discover more of the mechanism on your ownHTH
Q: I've heard that welding aluminum is difficult but you are able to braze or solder pieces together, would it be as solid as a weld, is it easier than welding?I want to make an aluminum go kart frame.
The German battle ship Bismarck is one of the most famous war ships of the second world war, the lead ship in her class she was named after 19th Century German Chancellor Otto Von BismarchBismarck fame came from the battle of Denmark Straight in May 1941 (in which the battle cruiser H.M.SHood, Flag ship and pride of the royal navy was sunk) from Churchill's subsequent order to sink the Bismarck.
Q: I recently made a cheesecake using a water bathI put aluminum foil around the bottom of the pan in 2 or 3 layers, set it in a roasting pan, but it still leakedLuckily, it didn't completely ruin my cakeIt just made the bottom crust a bit too moistThe rest of it came out perfectly, just like you would have bought it from a professional bakeryI was so proud, except for the moist bottomI read that you can put a pan in the oven on a different rack (a bottom rack, obviously), but wouldn't that interfere with one of the reasons for a water bath in the first place (that in a water bath, it bakes with a slower and more even rise in temperature)? Does anyone have any experience with baking a cheesecake without a water bath, or have any other ideas? I would rather hear personal experiences, and not just posts directly from a website, unless the website says what YOU would have said in the first place.
I am glad that someone other than myself has discovered that aluminum has the possibility of being hazardous to healthBut it is in so many of our every day uses, even deodorant, can packaging of drinks, I guess that the long term effects are out weighed by the monetary contributions to the societyMoney talks and we are in the land of moneyI guess that you will just have to look at the contents label of products you are buying and will have to try and forego the products with added aluminum content.
