- Q: I have a small rc helicopter, loads of fun btw, and I was curious if I could add another, identical battery to the existing one,and fyi the heli could handle the extra weight, no problem.
- it should handle it but here is WHY you shouldn't use it: firstable, if you double the pack, the chopper will need more power to lift off which means that will waste more energy and it won't be so efficient the motors will get hot too. it would be better if you use the first pack and then you use the 2nd one why? so you don't lose perfomance because of the weight and the motors don't have to work harder also, when you change the packs, the motor and electronics have time to cool a bit down, if you're going to do this then try waiting at least 5 minutes for the helicopter to cool down, this way, the motors will last longer
- Q: I have an electric scooter with a brand new 24 volt battery pack. When I charge the battery the voltage gets as high as 28 volts or more. I bought a brand new charger that has a 1.8 amp output rating. The charger light stays red while charging and should shut off when it turns green. So far I have not let the charger charge until the green light comes on. I am concerned that I am overcharging the battery. Right now my multimeter reads 28.48 volts. Is this normal? - 28 1/2 volts doesn't worry me; many sealed lead acid batteries charge to more than 2.3 volts per cell. At 29 volts I'd get concerned and at 30 volts I'd call it quits. However, the real issue is whether the batteries are getting hot. If they are just slightly warm they are still converting the energy to chemistry, but if they develop a fever (call it above 110 F) they are just turning the charge into heat they are fully charged.

- you should be able to take the battery housing apart and figure out the positive and negative leads the standard Ni-Cd cell puts out 1.55 v and the standard Lithium-ion puts out 3.7 v 12 Ni-Cd cells connected in series produces 18.6 v 5 Li-ion cells connected in series produces 18.5 v i do not know how many amp-hours the BD pack holds if the Li-ion pack needs more amp hours you could connect 2- 5 cell in a parallel circuit

- I don't see why not If they do, it won't be for much though because their notorious for buying things off customers really cheap. Which in other words means they rip you off. So if I was you I would try to sell it to someone first. And if you can't find anyone you can sell it to Gamestop if they will take it.

- If NOTHING happens as in no sound, or movement of any kind, then you probably have a contact broken. Check the fuse and the motor and make sure everything is in right.

- For me is better to buy the play and charge kit. because you get in the package you get a rechargable battery and when it goes out just plug in the play and charge kit and it will charge it while you keep playing and then when it goes out do the same thing. The battery holds a lot of charge it lets you play for about eight hours straight
