Q:Does that mean I can charge the camera or are those a type of batteries?
A battery pack implies a plastic case with one or more individual cells inside. Lithium cells have a terminal voltage when charged of 3.6 volts. Nickel-Metal-Hydride cells have a terminal voltage of 1.25 volts. The difference comes the different chemistry that goes on within the cell. I have a Nikon digital camera with a lithium battery pack. It can use the standard non-rechargeable or a rechargeable pack. The rechargeable is charged separately in a charger, not in the camera, though the camera itself can be run from an external power supply. The camera does not recharge the battery as a safety feature because if you try charging a non-rechargeable standard cell, it can explode like a big firecracker. I have another digital camera by Sony. It has only a rechargeable battery pack unique to fit the camera which charges in the camera when the camera is powered by an external supply or when the battery is in a separate charger with the special connector needed to fit the battery. Either your camera is like my Nikon which does not charge the internal battery, or like my Sony which does charge the battery when it is in the camera. What does it say in the instructions for yours?
Q:I am building an Xbox 360 Laptop, and obviously it can't always be plugged in :P. Where would I be able to find a rechargeable battery to kick out at least 175W, 12V, and 42A (DC current)? Ideas and suggestions are also welcome!
You will not find one tp fit any machine. this is far too high a load . In act the only batteries capable of this kind of output would be lead acid, as in small car batteries. I don't think they will fit in the case. And can not be safely carried due to acid spillage risks.
Q:Hello:I am trying to jerry-rig a head lamp for my biking @ nightI am wanting to power a single fog light with a 6V/2.8AH battery packI know nothing about power/watts reallySo, my question is: how many watts of a bulb should I use to power the foglight for atleast 3-4 hours? Thanks for your help!
Is the fog light meant to run off of a 6V power supply? If it is meant for a car or motorcycle, it is probably meant for a 12V power source. Just buy a bicycle light. They are pretty cheap.
Q:Hello,I would like to know if anyone is aware of a solar power panel, such as GoalZero, that can charge a digital cameras battery pack. I have a Canon SLR and would like a panel to not only charge my AAA's batteries, Droid, and GPS, but most imprtantly the battery pack for my SLR.I haven't been able to find an adapter to charge a battery pack, as most solar panels utilize USB ports. The battery pack that comes with the camera must be installed into a device that plugs into the wall outlet.I would appreciate your help.Thank you all in advance.
Forget Solar charging while backpacking. even a 5W panel which is 12 by 24 will take over half the day to do the charging. Unless you want to sit all day and charge, extra batts are the way to go.
Q:i just open the battery pack.but someone told me thats not the only way
It turns off when you shut down the xbox.
Q:I foolishly burned out 2 green LEDs already since I provided too much voltage. The 2 green LEDs I need to light up have a forward voltage of 3.2 volts each. The battery pack has 3 AA rechargeable batteries, for a total of 3.6 V(1.2 V per battery). If I remove one battery, the LEDs won't light up at all. How can I reduce the voltage so it doesn't burn out my LEDs, do I need to use a resistor or can I use something else? If I need resistors, what kind of resistors should I use?
The other posters gave you the math - a good thing But this LED calculator may come handy as well metku /?sectviewn
Q:I found a battery pack from a few years ago attatched to an remote control car, but cant remember how i used to charge itits one like this
go to walmart or kmart and buy an rc car battery charger. this type of battery requires a slow charge, that is about 12 hours. there are other, special type batteries, that can be fully recharged in 10 minutes. DO NOT TRY THAT WITH THIS RC BATTERY. just make sure that the charger is for the 9.6v pack.
Q:I have a Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup, the battery pack was held in place by adhesive but has recently come loose. Any ideas for how to re attach it without using a substance that would damage the guitar?
You can use velcro. They sell both sides and you can cut it to the right fit. If the glue on the back of the vecro isn't strong enough, you can always use your own glue to make it permanent. Its on the inside, so don't sweat it so much.
Q:I have a Canon Rebel T3i and an extended battery pack I want to keep on my camera. I tug and tug and tug to get it out of my current bag. (Some reason it goes in easily) A case logic, with a top opening to slide in the camera lens for separate keeping with my base. I typically keep a 18-200mm as my walk around lens, and would love to keep that attached as well. It's pretty much impossible to see if any cameras have battery packs on, in images provided while I online bag shop. Any bag I buy MUST be zip shut to keep out dust and dirt! Thank You!
Multi-Pocket Oxford Cloth Bag with Compass for 10 Laptop/DSLR Camera - Black from any sopping you can purchase you will get so many sites if you search the google.
Q:I need to replace the batteries for my little brother's walkie talkies. They are uniden, and use a rechargeable battery pack. Can I just put 3 single rechargeable batteries in them instead?
If the radio has spots for them, yes, but you need to take them out to charge them on a standard charger for that type of battery. To charge in the radio, you need the special Uniden batteries.
