Q: i have lived in york for ten years and have been told many times that the minster in york has had scaffolding up for decades and that it has to stay there for political or religious reason there is never any work done or indeed workers on the scaffolding. can anyone shed any light on the matter for me or is it just an urban myth and nothing more than on going restoration.

Q: On Wednesday day I'm planning to get this done (the top piercing). I've been thinking about it for a while now really want it.What problems can I have with this piercing? How long does it take to heal ect? Thanks =)
i've not had scaffolding but i've got a wide range of cartilage piercings and they take about 12weeks to heal... i would just say be careful not to catch it and keep it clean. good luck :)
Q: scaffolding piercing.. do they hurt? and how much are they in england? thanks x?
Yes they hurt but like all piercings if you look after them then it wont hurt for long. If you don't like pain don't get them. I can't tell you what they cost in England as you posted your question in the Australia section.
Q: I really want to get one done and I would like it if someone could tell me how badly does it really hurt? During and after. I know everybody has different pain thresholds but on average? I'm just nervous to get it done but really want another piercing on my ears. I have my lobes and a cartilage on my right ear. How easy is it to clean? rate in numbers as well as a description. Thanks.
my experience was easy and fast. it was the next day waking up that kills you! keep in mind that its thick cartilage, but it is really worth it. you'll get used to it by like day 3 or 4 but and tug or pull will remind you of the pain. i recommend it!
Q: Electric basket accessories are generic

Q: why scaffold need for inspected within the preceding 7 days and after adverse weather condition?
It is a work safety issue. Past experience has shown that scaffolding sometimes gets modified by unqualified people (or weather) resulting in injury or death.
Q: What heights do u need a harness for(had to repost as didnt explain correctly in last 1)
That first answer is correct. When I worked as a construction electrician back in the 1980's the OSHA requirements were not so strict, but now the harnesses and tie-offs are required for any work platform over 6' from the ground.
Q: ..or anytime around whenThe Scarlet Letter was written.I am doing a paper on why the three scenes at the scaffold were so significant. So I decided to include the history of scaffolds, but I can't seem to find any information on them.help please? :]SOURCES..if possible! :]
Mostly the person would be taken onto the scaffold , a rope fixed around their neck, and then the trap door would open and they would drop through and choke to death , very rarely did the neck break in those days , so relatives and friends would pull on the legs , thus to speed up death. Earlier in history people were strung up from trees , and sometimes stood in the back of a cart which was driven away leaving them dangling. The platform on which the guillotine was stood was also called a scaffold at times. These executions were turned into social events and hundreds of people used to go to look.
Q: i am getting my industrial (scaffold) pierced on one ear and i want my cartilage on the other ear, how long do i have to wait between them? What are pros and cons for industrial (scaffold)? what are risks and stuff and how much is it? i want to get it so any information or anything i should know would be great thanks especially for industrial:)
i heard from people after a year an industrial still hurts and they usually have to take them out
Q: Why is it necessary to keep records of all inspection carried out on scaffolds as stated in Regulation 39?
To cover your A** in case of injury or an inspection.
