Q: I can't use brush roll vacuums due to long hair on the carpet which has destroyed other vacuums with brush-rolls. I know Miele Art is one -does anyone know any others? TY.
Every canister vacuum I know of has a way to put a plain floor brush on the end of the wand instead of a beater brush. Shop-vacs also just have plain brushes.
Q: i know what they are and what they look like, but how do you give someone one?and how long do they last?and why do people like them'?
you have to punch them in the throat. hard. dont hold back. they last a long time, but even longer if you wear a ring.
Q: I am planning to start working for Rainbow vacuum. Any warning that I should know about? Any helpful hints? Anything?
The vacuum cleaners are hard enough to sell in a normal economy. In a lousy economy like what we have now, the job is vene more difficult. Folks don't buy a $1300 vacuum just because. They have to be fully convinced it is worth the money. It is very heavy, especially with the water in it, and you should not try to dismiss objections about carrying it up down stairs - that is really not recommended, and not to be advised because of the risk of injury. They either empty the unit of water, and refill on the second floor, or they buy a second system for the second floor - and you can double your sales! If you every find such a customer, give them a good discount on the second system, OK? Good Luck; but in case things are slow, I suggest you have another part time job ready.
Q: What's the difference between vacuum dust collector and ordinary vacuum cleaner?
Vacuum cleaners have suction motors with fixed suction for cleaning dust by suction. No sweeper suction motor, only the head of the brush motor, cleaning brush clamp mainly by large dust particles and then thrown into the bucket
Q: That they all clean their houses with brand name Dyson Vacuum Cleaners? Is it product placement? I love Dyson!
yes it is. Every thing you see on a TV show that is clearly marked with a product name is a placement.Plus since Bill owns a chain of hardware stores it makes sense his wives would use the best vacuum cleaners on the market.
Q: what is the website for regina vacuum cleaners parts?
www.okorder My memory is failing me, but I think a Regina and a Tristar are the same
Q: I saw a wide range of prices for vacuum cleaners...I just need a decent one, how much should that cost?
I recently bought a new vacuum cleaner and really looked into it before I bought. I have a lot of pets, including a very large, hairy dog and a small budget, so I needed something REALLY good for a low price. I got the Eureka Boss 4D, model 4893. It cost me $139.99 and in my opinion is it better than ANY cleaner I've ever used, including Dysons. It's heavy though, I'd not recomend it if you have any mobility problems like arthritis or similar.
Q: What is something that moves in a house not including people or pets
curtains, clocks, doors, fans, toys, etc.
Q: Opinions please on Bosch vacuums Iknow that they have really good appliances but I'm not sure about the vac. Any help would be great.
I recommend that you check the March 2006 issue of Consumer Reports. On page 30 is a full report with ratings on vacuum cleaners. They tested both uprights and canisters, and the Bosch Premium Prestige($800) came out number 2 in the canisters. The Sears Kenmore Progressive($500) came out number one, and had more features for less money. If you want to save even more money, check out the Sears Progressive with Direct Drive. It came it number one in the upright vacuums, and will save you even more money at $300. Good luck!
Q: What would you do if your child has phobias of water, darkness, cars, vacuum cleaners and dust?
You didn't mention the age of the child. If the child is a toddler, then I would ask the pediatrician to give you some advise on how to help the child become comfortable. You may have to seek some professional help. The worst thing you can do is try to scare them into not being afraid. These phobias are very real to the child. And how you handle it can determine what type of life they will have. Trust is very important. You can't just say the dark won't hurt you because you don't know the reason they are afraid of it to start with. When I was a child I was afraid of the dark. As I became older, the fear became worse. I had a step mother who was so mean. I had a night light in my room and of course when the bulb would burn out, I was in a panic. She would usually send me to bed in the dark, yelling all the way. Today I realize my home was very safe, But when I was 8'ish, I was afraid of what I could not see. I imagined someone would walk through the wall, and it wasn't until I was an adult and married that I overcame my need to have a night light. By the way, I still don't like spiders. I hope you get the child all the help available. Please be sympathetic and supportive. Your child may overcome these fears, they may never overcome them. Good luck
