- The spelling error is fatal: expane does not resemble anything that makes sense. At least two things are called a crane, one a machine and the other a bird. So you just need to rewrite your question so that it explains what you want clearly enough for somebody to look up an answer.

- Q: I was wondering if this is possible. The wall we have designed is very close to an existing retaining wall. In order to properly form and waterproof the wall we would have to demo that existing retaining wall. My idea was to build it off site, waterproof it, and then crane it into its location. Is this possible? any similar methods? thanks
- Possible but difficult. You could tell us what the wall is made of? Assuming stone, then you can't lift a stone wall unless you have a steel plate under it, as it will collapse otherwise. That gets complicated. Yes, you could build it with a 1/2 inch steel plate under it, and lift it that way, assuming it is not too long, and crane it into position, but you then have to slide the plate out without cracking the wall, also difficult. The plate is expensive, the crane is expensive. But what do you gain? You still have to demolish the old wall, you still have to build a new one, so what would you gain by building it somewhere else and moving it?

- Q: hi, i was just looking for a guide to change a full stock to a crane stock on an m4, (its wired to the back)i dont actually have the gun yet im buying it from a freind, so i havnt had a chance to look at it but the the gg gr16-r4i was wondering if its just a m4 with a stock that is wired to the back, how there is the two long screws that run from the back of the buffer tube to the body, then you just switch it out for a crane stock...anyway anything would be great, thanks

- Preach is son! I know in my case I ask if something looks good on me or if I look good because half the time I can't tell if something looks hideous on me or not. I always used to get picked on when I was younger as well because i grew up in an area where everybody was blonde haired and blue eyed, and I'm italian with extremely dark features so I stuck out! The popular girls tore me apart and I coudln't STAND to look at myself in the mirror. Yuck, dark, dark times. But then again, those girls were just trying to make themselves more secure, and they're the kinds of people fishing for compliments. heh.

- the guy above me has it pretty much right. It's very easy to make a cylindrical electromagnet, the calculations for it are easy as well, compared to other shapes of coil; they also generally produce a very simple, elegant magnetic field. More complicated shapes would change the shape of the field and give weird results when you try to get things to stick to it.

- Levers winches and cranes all use a counter balance. Its weight that helps move weight in different ways. There is no such thing as an anti-gravity machine.
