1. For Glazed Porcelain Floor Tile, what is the difference from polished porcelain tile?
—— For Glazed Porcelain Floor Tile, there is a special glaze layer on the tile surface, which makes the surface feel matt or rough, while the surface of polished porcelain tile is glossy and smooth.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is one 20’ container. For those models whose production could be arranged frequently, we could mix 2 or 3 models in one container.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton. If the order quantity is over 5 containers, we could print the carton of client’s design for the final packing.
4. What is the delivery time after we paid the deposit?
—— Normally, we shall get all items ready for loading within 3 weeks after we get the deposit or the formal Letter of Credit. For orders which demand cutting job, it will take a longer time.

- Could be the humidity. What did he use to stick them down? Did he use a mastic that comes already mixed in a tub? If so, there will probably always be problems in a humid or wet areas. Thinset is best for tile.

- The tile was probably laid on a floor that flexes, breaking the tiles. This is not your fault, it's the fault of the person that put in that tile. They should have stiffened the floor better before installing the tile.

- Try fine grade wire wool. Use it gently so you don't damage the surface of the tiles. Another point to remember is to keep all pets away from the area while you are working. My dog got some fine grain plaster in his eye that caused temporary blindness and ?140.00 emergency vet's bill. Best wishes from Sue
- Q: I need help with my white tile grout. Nothing I do keeps/gets it clean. Any tips for an easy fix to dirty grout, or does anyone know if it‘s possible to add color to grout after it‘s been set?
- not so complicated-really- yes you CAN color grout. they have tile grout coloring at the tile store or home depot and lowes. The easiest way by far is a little product called tile guard. It looks like white shoe polish in the same kind of bottle and applicator. There is a cleaner and the whitener(with the applicator) honestly I got board with the cleaning part and just used the second step which is the shoe polish like bottle. Be sure to follow the directions for cleaning it up. It is so simple and CHEAP. about $6.00 for a bottle-also found at Home Depot and Lowes. Keep It Simple.

- Q: in my bathroom what do i need thats easy an inexpensive? Can i do it myself.? trying to do it for my mother this weekend while she is away. Have tile thats old and seperating can i just pull it up clean the floor and lay the tile?
- Yes you can do it yourself. But you'll need a lot of guidance. Probably too much to give you here. Is it on concrete? If so, you'll have less problems. If it's on wood, you'll have to tear up the first layer of the subfloor and lay down backerboard (hardibacker). There are two types. Use the 1/4 inch. The 1/2 inch is for walls. You'll need thin set, tile cutters, maybe tile nippers. Grout and a float. Then you'll probably have to replace the base boards. Are the base boards real wood or pressed wood? Pressed wood doesn't hold up very well in moist areas. I suggest real wood. Then don't forget to paint them with a mold resistant paint. Oh yes, don't forget to remove the toilet. You will want the partial tiles to end in a corner of the room that is the least obvious. You will have to do a dry lay to determine how to lay down the full tiles in the best way. (Dry lay is explained in the how to do it books.) I suggest you get a book on how to lay tiles. Also go down to Lowe's or Home Depot and go to their classes. Since each instructor lays tile differently, go to several of their classes and ask a lot of questions. There are many different tiles. Some are natural stone (marbel, travertine, granite). Some are man-made (ceramic). Some are cheap, some are expensive. But more importantly some are very smooth and slippery while others offer a little more traction. (With that said I layed down marble-very slippery in my bathrooms and kitchen simply because it looked so good!) Do your research before you begin your project. Think it out and ask a lot of questions to people that have done this. Laying the tile is easy. But it does take some basic knowledge. Good luck!!
- Q: I got thisAmerican Florim tile about a year ago and can‘t remember if was Terra cotta tile. Does it look like it to you? If so it is 320 square ft of Terra cotta 18 tile. 5 or so tiles are broken on the corners.
- You should talk to the distributor. They are the experts on their brand just check out the american florim website. Then you should be able to find one of their show rooms.

- Q: The 12 by 12 tiles were laid 7 years ago and nothing is different, but last October some of them over by the exterior wall of the house started tenting. There had been no more or less rain. What would make them do this?Here‘s some more info:-They started cracking in the part of the house that was added on.-The new foundation may not have been sealed.-My brother put them down and he tends to do a crappy job at best. He thinks they were cheap tiles.-I found traces of termites when I started pulling them up (seems unrelated since they‘re ceramic tiles, but one never knows...)Any advice on replacing them would be greatly appreciated!
- Ceramic tiles are rated at 3 4 5 and 5 being the best as far as breakage goes and if you have some that are rated at 3 or maybe 4 they may break through the years this is one reason. Another reason is that the floor may have settled through the years and this has caused them to crack especially if you say this part was added on. A good floor and sub floor if it was laid right and then they did use a cement board when they laid tiles I doubt moisture is the problem unless the floor became totally saturated. You can take the cracked tiles up carefully and scrape all the thin set off of the cement board or underlayment what ever you have. Make sure it is dry and level if you have any part of the floor that is not level you will have a few cracked tiles for sure. Apply new thin set and place new tiles. Re grout and you are done. You say these started cracking in the part of the house that was added on it may be that part of the floor has settled down more and you may to make sure that this is all level before you can place new tiles. - If the tiles are a really hard glaze then you could have them sand blasted there are plenty of businesses that can dry sand blast as long as the tiles are worth more than the cost of sand blasting
