Performance of Glass Block Misty Cloudy Blue:

1. Environmental Friendliness
Belonging to sodalime silicate glass system, glass tile, a transparent material, is made by melting silicate inorganic mineral substance materials such as quartz sand, soda ash (Na2CO3) and limestone at high temperature, being a veritable eco-friendly product.

2. Heat-shielding Performance
Due to the diffuse scattering of hollow glass tile and internal negative pressure cavity, a room can get enough light rays and the interior temperature does not rise under strong solar radiation in summer. In winter, the difference between indoor temperature and outdoor temperature can reach 40 DEG C and the air humidity is not influenced because of low thermal coefficient and great loss of blocked heat in the negative pressure cavity. If the glass tile is applied to a building, the room gets cool in summer and is away from torridness, and warms the room, does not cause dryness and saves energy in winter.

3. Sound Insulation Performance
Thanks to sealing negative gas in the hollow glass tile, the tile has high sound insulation property.

4. Light-transmitting and Non-perspective Performance
The light-transmission coefficient of white hollow glass tile is 75%-85%, which is similar to that of the general double-layered hollow glass. There are various decorative patterns on the surface of the glass tile, so the tile is non-perspective, indoor imperceptibility is realized, light rays are scattered around the room, discomfort caused by direct solar radiation is solved and the indoor luminous environment is improved.

5. Fireproof Performance
The fireproof level of hollow glass tile is GB class A. According to Japanese law, it is recognized that single-layer wall has the same performance as the second kind fire door and double-layer wall has one-hour fireproof performance.

6. High Compression Resistance and Shock Resistance
The hollow glass tile has high compression resistance and shock resistance, so that the dead weight of the hollow glass tile can be ignored even in design and construction of very high glass tile wall.

7. Atomization Resistance
The hollow glass tile has outstanding performance in resisting pulverization. For example, the surface of the glass tile does not atomize or form dew when the indoor temperature is 20°C, the humidity is 60% and the outdoor temperature is 2°C below zero, so that the erosion of atomized vapor to the frame is prevented.

Application Range of Glass Block Misty Cloudy Blue:

The hollow glass tile has noble, elegant and magnificent decorative effects. It is widely in banks, offices, hospitals, schools, hotels, airports, stations, landscapes, video walls, civil buildings, indoor partitions, stages, sanatoria, gymnasia, playgrounds, apartments, private cruise ships and so on which require beatifying, being a popular novel decorative material in modern international market.

Q:im going to tile the floor next weekend with 16x16 ceramic tile, and i could use some advice2 questions actually...1. when i lay my backerboard, and tape the staggered seams, do i keep that thinset over the tape very thin? im afraid of a hump in the floor when i go to lay tile.2. how much pressure do i apply when seting the tiles in the thinset? ive seen websites that show very little pressure..and some that show alot of pressure. does it need to float on the thinset or mash it down in the thinset. i just want this to turn out good...its my 1st time, and ive done alot of research, but the information varies from person to person. any added advice or tips on this project would be greatly appreciated.
The thinset is self leveling, so do not worry about the bump of the tape. The tiles need to be pressed down enough that the tile cement has a good coverage of the back of the tile. Try one, and see what coverage you get. Then do the same after wards. Sounds a bit difficult, but when you do it, then it will seem very straight forward. Good Luck
Q:i wanted to make a moseque out of ordiniary household tiles i have left over from small jobs around the house. can this be done and is it safe?
extremely tough subject look using search engines like google that will could help
Q:bought home, tiles loose in shower, wonder if water damage is behind it
Plaster or fresh concrete mix
Q:CAN I LAY TILE WITH NO GROUT LINES?
If its in a no moisture area . May be . But unless its Trazo or Granite square cut on . And I only do that on counter tops. If you don't seal seal with grout water can get in cracks and cause problems with tile adhesion and sub floor failure. I'd use the thin grout lines.
Q:I have tiles in my house. The whole 1st story is tile. Their porcelain. My chihuahua stays downstairs all the time and I was wondering does the tile have any affect on her? The tiles get really cold.

Q:I‘m going to install a porcelain tile floor. My question is when I install a tile up against a cabinet that people can see. Should I but the tile up against the cabinet or should I leave enough space to grout between the tile and the cabinet. Just wondering what the standard practice is , and what looks the best. Also I have a small crack in the concrete, which the tile company said it was so minor that not to worry about it. Although it caused a crack in my old tile that was originally installed. I would really like to prep the crack prior to installing the new tile. What would you recommend doing to prep the crack. Thanks
I like to leave a space between the cabinet and tile the same as the groutlines. About the crack. You can grind all the loose stuff off it and fill it with cement or something like that. but I've found that if the crack keeps getting bigger (if the house settles any more) there is nothing you can do except when the tile cracks replace it
Q:I keep hearing that tile showers are a real chore to keep clean. I bought some tile sealer, and grout sealer. Will this help out significantly? How often should I reapply? Any other tips I should know about while it‘s still a virgin shower before it‘s too late?
Sealed tile is not bad to care for. Even the cheap shower spray after every use will make weekly scrubbing easy.
Q:I‘m looking to replace a ceramic tile floor in my kitchen with a different style ceramic tile. The contractor says I have two options. He can either lay the new ceramic tile on the old, which will be cheaper than bringing up the old tile but then the floor will be raised 1 to 1 1/2 above current level. Or, he can take up the old ceramic tile but then he‘d have to remove the old layer of plywood and put down a new layer, which will be more labor-intensive and expensive. Is there any other issues regarding these two scenarios that I should take into account?
The largest advantage to taking up the old floor and replacing the sub floor is that you get a chance to see if there are any underlying problems (i.e. rot, unevenness, cracks). When I had my floor tiles removed and replaced, it was found that the original sub floor was improperly installed, was rotted by the kitchen door, and was hiding some structural issues. Sounds scary I know, but I would rather find out about these things and fix them before laying a new floor than having to rip up said new floor later to fix them.
Q:i have the material that is needed to tile my home but cannot pay for it to be done so i need information on how to do this
If you need to prep such as lay cement board or do you have slab to go directly over? Proper prep work is the most important thing. To lay tile , center the room, lay tile out dry. When you get to the wall, if you have a 1/2 tile or bigger, your all set. If you end up with less than 1/2 tile, recenter the middle tile to shift every thing over by a 1/2 tile. Then strike a line. Mix thin set, let it set and mix again. You ll want it to be spreadable but not to thick. The use of the proper size trowel for what ever size tile. Don t spread any more thin set than you can set tile in just a few minutes. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. Q:I am laying ceramic tile over subflooring using 1/4 inch wonderboard. I am trying to not to have to move or modify existing floorboard trim. If I have 1/4 inch thick tile, 1/4 inch thick wonderboard how much thickness should I assume for adhesive? I have an existing 11/16 gap between subfloor and bottom of floorboard trim. Will I be able to use adhesive to close the gap to make fill the gap or are there other options?
You have to use thinset mortar not adhesive.
