Q: So right after the curved pipe that comes out of the muffler a piece of pipe, probably a little over a foot long rust off. The pipe itself wasn't that rusted just the ends of the piece that broke off. The front of the exhaust pipe is still secure and the curved section attached to the muffler seems secure as well. Q: I've always wondered that when I see people wearing hats, if the hat prevents the sun rays from penetrating the skin.: Gotta take the door panel off and have a look. Something might be binding up or else the lock motor is bad and needs to be replaced. Take the screw covers off and remove the screws, the door handle, pop the switch module out and unplug it, then go around the edge of the door and pop all the clips off.

Q: does anyone know where I could locate this item .I have exhausted all my sources(stores): 1/8 inch layer will make it so anyone wanting to get the picture off will have to use a razor blade or knife to carve it out. 1/4 in layer and they'll need a saw!

Q: I have this really good idea for Valetine's day. Me and this girl are going to go to the top of a local mountain/hill and have kind of a dinner under the stars. I'm going to bring some blankets, pillows, and, of course, food. I would like to also have a bit of a fire type thing, though (so I could reheat the food and also provide a little warmth/light).I once went camping with friends and they had this gel canister that they lit and cooked over (I don't remember it providing light, though). Would one of those work? What types of portable fires should I go for?Thanks, guys!P.S. If you have any other suggestions of what to bring, I'd love to hear them! :): What you can do is use a light fitting for outdoor use at home and then weld a spike to a pipe and weld a base on top and then mount the light on that. Not only will you have light, but it will look good too. Put a hook on the to tie the cable to in case they trip over the light that it doesn't pull out the cable from the light and also to pull the pipe out.

Q: Yesterday, forgetting there was residue from a fire extinguisher in our oven, i turned it on to prepare some garlic toast. After about 20 minutes, i came back to a very distinctive fishy smell in my kitchen, and when i opened the oven, i got a very big whiff of it. About an hour later, i started getting very stressed and hyper. I felt like i wanted to explode. Also, i was very paranoid, and found myself continually worried somebody was going to break into my house. When i went to bed, i only slept for 30 minutes, even though it felt like i had slept a whole night. When i woke up it felt like i was vibrating in my bed.All in all, it was a very scary experience, especially since i wasn't expecting it. Are their chemicals inside of a fire extinguisher that could get you high like this, or was it something i ate or another external factor?: Yes, it certainly should be replaced, most probably with PVC, that would be the least expensive and longest lasting. Actually this is a fairly simple job, which most anyone with a little time and a modicum of mechanical ability could do. It would only require that you purchase a length of PVC of the proper size, apparently 3 is what you would need, cut it to the length needed to fill the hole you have left when you cut off the leaking section. Then buy a couple of rubber boots, called Fernco fittings, which have the hose clamps attached to the ends. They come in sizes to adapt from one size pipe to another, so you would need some that go from 3 to 2. Put them on, put the pipe in place, tighten the clamps and you're good to go. Probably wouldn't hurt to put a support in the center of the length of pipe. A plumber would most likely charge $100 - $150 for this job.

Q: Every time I try to broil steaks, my smoke detector goes off. If I close the oven door, then the steaks burn. Mostly I just have to stand under the detector with a broom, waving the invisible smoke away until the steaks are cooked, and then I'm too tired to eat them. Any thoughts?: Plumbers putty won't prevent a leak. Escaping water will be under pressure that putty like that won't hold. Pex pipe is very good stuff and if it's not leaking now under pressure it's not going to. If you won't to play it safe though you could wrap it all in a heavy gauge plastic sheeting . Then funnel that sheeting into a pipe that you run to the crawlspace or basement if you have one. If you're on a slab foundation you have to get creative as to where to route such a pipe. Still I think you're very safe. Pex pipe and the fittings are very reliable.

Q: I'm looking for a good pair of running tights without any bells and whistles. I'm not interested in any of this tech stuff, so no mesh behind the knees, no zippers on the calves, no reflective material, just basic black spandex. I'd like relatively heavy/sturdy spandex to keep me warm in 40F weather, and I might consider the fleece-lined type also.Could anyone suggest a brand and style?
