Q: Home selection tiles, which brand to choose that good?
Marco Polo, but the price is high, the new source can also be.
Q: I have a purple tub and purple tile through out the bathroom ,how do I change the color ,is there paint I can buy
there are special enamel paints just for glass and tile. try a craft store.
Q: I have a tile floor in my kitchen, and I have tiles in both of my bathrooms, floors and shower walls. Whats is the best way to clean these with out removing the grout?
Kaboom grout cleaner. Not tub and tile. There is to different ones. They both are very good. If you can find the Kaboom grout cleaner It will do all of it. Other wise use hot water and Just a cap full of the tub and tile cleaner from kaboom ,
Q: Just started tiling my tub surround and I have two very similar layouts graphed up. The actual colors of the tile and listello will be different than the ones shown in the pictures, so don‘t look at the computerized colors since they aren‘t accurate. The layout however, is pretty darn close to what I am planning on doing.
I like the first pic of the tiling.
Q: There was actually only a tub there and no shower, so the walls are all plaster. I know that before I tile I need a different backerboard, meaning the plaster goes at least to a point. Any hints, tips, directions, and suggestions on how to do the job?

go to a warehouse, low overhead type of place, not a fancy flooring store. ask the sales person if the price on the tag is his best offer. they have some wiggle room in the prices.
Q: I am putting in a wood stove and want to make a mural behind it - should I tile the board and then put it up, or tile it on the wall. I am using wall spacers and cement board. I want to make a mural of a tree - the wall is 8‘ by 3‘ - should I cover the whole wall or just the part behind the wood stove? do I need special grout?thanks for your answers
Opinion: I would never tile anything and then try to move/install it. You will surely crack the tile or grout, even if it is on cement board. Besides, it will only make it heavier and more difficult to install. And generally, a mural will look better if it covers the entire surface... you can put neutral/fading-away-color tiles around the edges. Unless you have a plan to transition from the tile to a different non-flammable (non-painted) flat surface.
Q: my bathroom has brown tiles that i hate i bourgh white and stone tile paint there rubbish can i use another paint what kind i cant re tile landlord wont let me so need help
You need to paint tiles with tile paint, especially if they're in a wet place like your bathroom or toilet. Alternatively (if you want to put yourself into more expense), you can buy a universal sealant to first seal the tiles. Paint the sealant onto the tiles and give it enough time (according to manufacturer's specifications) to dry. You can then paint over this with emulsion paint. One word of warning: Don't expect it to last forever and it may scratch easily. It'll look good though... I've used this method in the link below. I painted granite and tiles. ourdiyprojects /transform-an-u...
Q: I want to install tile over laminate. How do I do this?
You have to remove all the laminates, clean and cement render your floor before installing the tiles. Normally, there are a layer of polyurethane and sponge under the laminate. Check and see. Installing tiles over your laminate floor would cause your tiles to crack at the joint/ edge as the laminate will tend to sag.
