I‘m a bit worried.: raw spinach or broccoli are great sources of iron which have no fat. Meat also has iron but obviously that's pretty fatty. Most green, leafy vegetables have iron. I eat a spoonful of molasses every day to keep mine up because I don't like iron pills. It's bad that you don't have iron in your blood because the iron in your blood is what carries the oxygen around in it to your tissues so if you don't have enough iron you might not be getting enough oxygen or your body might have to work harder to get the oxygen that it needs. This can make you feel weak or tired. It can also make you bruise more easily. But yeah, you can skip out on the pills usually if you eat lots of green, leafy vegetables and occasionally some meat.
