Q: what size curling iron should i use to get taylor swift's curls?
large curling iron to get big waves medium to get a lil smaller and a small curling iron to get tiny curls
Q: on the bottom of my iron there is some black burn stuff and i need to know how to clean this off?? please answer? this is a clothes iron.
First clean out the iron with white vinegar. Fill the water reservoir with the vinegar and use the steam pulse function and let it steam out through the holes. Not only will this clean out the inside of the iron, but it loosens the deposits on the sole plate. Continue to fill the iron and dispense through the steam holes until the vinegar runs clear over a sink. Then while the iron is still hot, take a wad of terry towel thick enough to protect your hands from the heat, dampen one layer of the towel, coat with baking soda and scrub off the remaining deposits. Once all of the burnt deposits are removed, run clear water through the steamer over a sink to clear any baking soda accumulated in the holes.
Q: I rarely eat meat, but on my latest blood test my doctor said my iron levels are almost out the normal range of being high. I want to start taking a mulitivitamin, would it be ok to have one with iron in it, or should I avoid taking more iron?
You should ask the doctor about that. Iron doesn't just come from meat, there is iron in tomatoes and other vegetables, as well.
Q: i have a high iron count in my blood work , what am i suppose to eat to lower my iron count ?
Has your Dr. expressed any concern about it? To the best of my knowledge there isn't anything you can eat that will reduce the iron concentration. There are drugs that can be used to lower the iron content but the easiest way the one least likely to cause any complications is phlebotomy. Phlebotomy is essentially the draining of a pint of blood (usually every other week) and then disposing of it as medical waste. You need a Dr.'s order for it. Before you are entered into a course of phlebotomy the Dr. will probably want to check for hemachromatosis which is a hereditary problem where too much iron is retained in your blood. Another test for liver function may also be ordered. Phlebotomy is usually the responsibility of the senior lab specimens nurse, lots of experience drawing blood. I really didn't even notice the needle insertion when I went through it it takes about half an hour for the pint, Best of luck.
Q: what foods are rich in iron??? and exactly how much iron do we need daily??
Beans, spinach, nuts and meats No idea about how much we are supposed to get, sorry.
Q: So I am trying to increase my iron levels as I have to give blood soon. Well I picked up an iron supplement and I took one. Well I just realized that it has 65 mg of iron in one pill. Why would they sell these if toxicity is over 50mg. Am I gonna be okay?
It is great that you are giving blood. However, unless you are suffering from iron deficiency anemia, no amount of iron is going to increase your hemoglobin count. You could take iron after the event, to speed up recovery, but most people do not have a problem in getting back to a normal level. 65mg of elemental iron ( usually in salt of iron about 300mg ) is the treatment dose for simple anemia. Toxic levels for an adult male start at about 700mg of elemental iron daily. If your hemoglobin level is normal, you need no more than 20mg daily for good health. Plenty of foods contain iron including green vegetables and liver
Q: And which foods are high in iron?
You have to see your doc for a blood test to know if you are low in iron. Green leafy veggies are high in iron. If you think you may be anemic then see your doc and get this checked out.
Q: I spend alot of time golfing, and am looking around for a new set of irons. . What irons would you suggest and why?
why not try callaway x-22 tour irons or taylormade burner irons and taylormade tour preferred irons. All are good irons to play.,forgiveness.
Q: what fruits more on iron content?i mean what foods to eat rich in iron.
Unless you are heating your copper to over 400 degrees for long periods of time effect is minimal if you start getting a taste like you ve been sucking on a penny you shouldn t have a prob your best bet is to carve your bowl from some hard wood and if you want cool bends or whatnot use thick walled copper tubing for your stem then it has minimal heat exposure if you must use copper for your bowl just watch for that taste it s worse to use foil or any thin metal it takes less temp to break it down
Q: anymore? what are most of the iron products?
Most iron is converted to steel. Iron is usually too britttle and less consistent (less homogeneous) than steel for use in most applications. The other common uses of iron are cast iron for engine blocks and ductile iron for water and sewer piping. It is less prone to rusting than steel when installed in the ground although protective coatings will extend the useful life. Iron is also used in other industrial applications which would not be familiar to most consumers- pump volutes and blower housings. Iron is not used for wire because iron wire would not be bendable or shapeable. It is brittle and would most likely break during the installation.
