Electrolytic Manganese Metal Flakes
Properties:
The main application of electrolytic manganese metal flakes:
Manganese is an important alloying agent. It is added to improve the strength, toughness, stiffness, hardness, wear resistance, and hardenability of steels. Together with aluminum and antimony, especially in the presence of copper, it forms highly ferromagnetic alloys. Manganese dioxide is used as a depolarizer in dry cells and as a decolorizing agent for glass that has been colored green due to iron impurities. The dioxide is also used in drying black paints and in the preparation of oxygen and chlorine. Manganese colors glass an amethyst color and is the coloring agent in natural amethyst. The permanganate is used as an oxidizing agent and is useful for qualitative analysis and in medicine. Manganese is an important trace element in nutrition, although exposure to the element is toxic in higher quantities.
Introduction
Electrolytic manganese metal flake is with silver gray metallic luster, hard and crisp, melting point 1245, boilling point 1962, with strong oxidation-reduction capacity. Specific gravity is 7.2. In comparison with metal manganese made by elctric warming, the electrogenerated mental manganese is of higher purity, superior quality and wider application.
Application
Mainly used in steel-making, special steel-making, non-ferrous alloy (A-Mn alloy, Ti-Mn alloy, Mg-Mn alloy). It is also widely applied in chemical industry, electron undustry, medicine, aerospace, medicine. Also it is used in the high performance soft magnetization ferrite, high magnetic permeability ferrite, high saturated magnetic induction density low cost ferrite, high stable low cost ferrite.
Electrolytical manganese mainly used as an additive ,to increase the hardness , stiffness , and corrosion resistance of metal alloy applied to the field of steel smelting, non-ferrous alloy, Electronic Technology, chemical industry ,environmental protection ,space industry ,etc.

- Q: i think its sad and funny that they only think true metal is the metal that they like
- Yes, they are all metals. In fact, in terms of pure numbers of elements, there are by far more metals than non-metals. If you look on your periodic table, they start on the right side atomic no. 5 with Boron and stairstep down to Astatine at 85. Everything else is a metal, although sometimes people will designate elements close to the non-metals as metalloids.
- Q: Heavy metalThrash metal ect.
- In chemistry, the term base metal is used informally to refer to a metal that oxidizes or corrodes relatively easily, and reacts variably with diluted hydrochloric acid (HCl) to form hydrogen. Examples include iron, nickel, lead and zinc. Copper is considered a base metal as it oxidizes relatively easily, although it does not react with HCl. Base is used in the sense of low-born, in opposition to noble or precious metal[1]. In alchemy, a base metal was a common and inexpensive metal, as opposed to precious metals, mainly gold and silver. A long-time goal of the alchemists was the transmutation of base metal into precious metal. In numismatics, coins used to derive their value primarily from the precious metal content. Most modern currencies are fiat currency, allowing the coins to be made of base metal.[citation needed] In mining and economics, base metals refers to industrial non-ferrous metals excluding precious metals. These include copper, lead, nickel and zinc.[2] The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is more inclusive in its definition. It includes, in addition to the four above, iron and steel, aluminium, tin, tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, magnesium, cobalt, bismuth, cadmium, titanium, zirconium, antimony, manganese, beryllium, chromium, germanium, vanadium, gallium, hafnium, indium, niobium, rhenium and thallium.[3]
- Q: For me it's a tie between Death Metal and Progressive Metal.
- No, because there are no molecules in metals. In metals there is strong metallic bonding between each metal atom and its neighbours. Metallic bonding is neither ionic nor covalent. Each metal atom loses control of it own valence/outer shell electrons, they become delocalised, and move about between the atoms. This kind of bonding is the strong force which gives metals their hardness and high melting points and boiling points. Hardest and highest when each atom has several valence electrons ie the transition metals but quite soft and low when each atom has only one valence electron eg Group 1 metals. It is these mobile electrons which enable metals to conduct electricity when they are all made to move in te same direction!!
- Q: Metal will never die.

- Q: Ive played all the mgs games for ps2: MGS:vr mission, MGS1,2 and 3, but I seen Metal Gear Acid on the psp?!?! where exactly does Metal Gear Acid fall in the storyline??was it before snake went to Alaska or was It sometime between one of the mgs1 and 2?
- no. a transition metal is a metal in the D block. that is the middle section of the periodic table. take a look at this picture. aluminum is toward the right in the purple section 61.19.145.8/student/m5year2006-2/...
- Q: Is there any good websites that will explain how metal ions inhibit enzymes? I have found websites on metal ions, but they only say which metals inhibit specific enzymes, not how they actually work.
- Who cares
- Q: I need a question for metal and non-metal
- early underoath is the way to go. anything pre theyre only chasing after safety limewire.
- Q: Black metalSpeed metalHair metalDoom MetalHeavyMetalIndustrial MetalColdwave MetalGrindcoreHardcoreDeath MetalPower MetalNu Metali know lke rammstien is industrial.. cradle of filth n gogoroth is black metal.. cannibal corpse is death metal.... and so onBut can someone explian to me the types and what they mean and examples... cos i just say heavy metal and punk, their my catagories..Theres toooooo many
- I never heard of those bands, but try dream theater, Cacaphony, Stradivarius, and yt
- Q: I looked up metal in a dictionary and I only found 7 definitions, but one was certainly missing. Here is what I found:1.One of a category of electropositive elements that are usually whitish, lustrous, and, in the transition metals, typically ductile and malleable with high tensile strength.2. An alloy of two or more metallic elements3.An object made of metal4. Basic charachter:METTLE5. Molten glass, especially when used in glassmaking6. Molten cast iron7. Printing type made of metalI thought that one other definition was definitely missing. So why do you think metal gets so much disrespect from so many people, and how can the metal artists get more respect from the public.
- All That Remains Karate High School (my bestie's is love with this band at the moment)
- Q: What happened to the metal scene in the States? In Europe, S. America and other places great metal and it's various sub-genres is still being produced. Especially right now the symphonic/gothic/power metal sound in Scandinavia is especially strong. I've always been drawn to the epic sounds, intelligent lyrics, and musicianship found especially in thrash and progressive metal.
