- Hi Better Together, The best cordless flat iron I could find was Ion FX and to be honest, the reviews on this one aren't stellar. They are okay. Some say that it doesn't last very long. But I guess if it does work, it works well. As well as a cordless could work. Perhaps you would prefer to get a mini flat iron instead of a cordless one, if you want it for travel. Some recommended notions for someone with a lot of wool to press are a steam iron, a tailor's ham for pressing curved areas such as collars and lapels, a seam roll for pressing seams open without making a visible seam edge, a point presser for hard-to-reach places, and a press cloth. One common trade name for rayon is Modal?. To iron rayon, when necessary, use the steam setting on a warm iron and a dry pressing cloth on the inside of the garment.
