Q: What are the effects of low iron anemia? Can it make you sick? My doc said my iron levels are really low. Please help!
Hemoglobin is a protein in red blood cells to which oxygen binds. Hemoglobin contains an iron atom, and this is what oxygen binds to. Having an iron deficiency decreases your hemoglobin saturation, and can make you very tired and weak because your cells are not getting enough oxygen. I would recommend taking Feosol (you should take it with food), and also make sure you are eating enough red meat! (unless you are a vegetarian, in which case you should eat a lot of spinach and other leafy green vegetables, which tend to be iron rich).
Q: Even having something light to eat with it doesn‘t help much; only a full meal will prevent it.But why does iron irritate the stomach?
Nothing to worry about. Copper gets like that from any exposure to the elements. As long as no water is leaking, I wouldn't worry about it. LOL Just look at the Statue of Liberty!!! I can't even imagine that she was once copper-colored.
Q: Looking to get a new set of irons toward the end of this years golf season and just sort of starting to look into planning for what I should look for. I currently have the Ping g10‘s. Starting to grow out of them and my swing coach recommends a bit different style as well. What I mean is he said that I should look for irons right in between blades or players irons and game improvement irons. Kind of like a half blade iron. Not fully sure what I should look for. Any recommendations? Please give more than just the brand.
It all depends on your skill level if you are a beginner-intermediate i recrement that you stay within Pings G series if your are more of a advanced golfer than i suggest that you choose the I 15 Ping irons they are a great club for distance and are forgiving. These kinds of irons are also right in between blades or players irons and game improvement irons. Kind of like a half blade iron. They are not so expensive and you should be able to get better with these irons
Q: I need step by step recipes for people with low iron
this is silly eat a carrot
Q: I heard that children have OD‘d and died by taking just 2 or 3 iron pills. How many mg of iron will kill an adult?
Iron toxicity can be classified as corrosive or cellular. Corrosive toxicity: Iron is an extremely corrosive substance to the GI tract. It acts on the mucosal tissues and can manifest with nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, hematemesis, and diarrhea; patients may become hypovolemic because of significant fluid and blood loss. Cellular toxicity: The absorption of excessive quantities of ingested iron results in systemic iron toxicity. Severe overdose causes impaired oxidative phosphorylation and mitochondrial dysfunction, which can result in cellular death. The liver is one of the organs most affected by iron toxicity, but other organs such as the heart, kidneys, lungs, and the hematologic systems also may be impaired. End result of corrosive and cellular toxicity is significant metabolic acidosis due to several factors. - Hypoperfusion due to significant volume loss, vasodilatation, and negative inotropic effect of iron will result in lactic acidosis. - Inhibition of oxidative phosphorylation will promote anaerobic metabolism. Individuals demonstrate signs of GI toxicity after ingestion of more than 20 mg/kg. Moderate intoxication occurs when ingestion of elemental iron exceeds 40 mg/kg. Ingestions exceeding 60 mg/kg can cause severe toxicity and may be lethal.
Q: I curl my hair with a curling iron, but the curls do not last long. Someone told me to curl hair with flat iron for long lasting curls? anyone out there did that? how?
No, just tell someone to put an S Curl in your hair. Go to a hairstore and get it. You should know what it is if you black. I'm finna get one of them fa spirit week and go to school as Michael Jackson.
Q: are they the same thing? I was told that my iron levels are ok but that my iron stores are low
The main store of iron in the body is in ferritin (liver, bone marrow and spleen) but it is stored elsewhere in use in cells. Iron level likely refers to measurements of iron in blood tests (for deficiency, etc.). Of course iron is essential to blood (hemoglobin) to transport oxygen to cells.
Q: pleeeeease help. just a regular iron not some fancy thing
I checked my iron and it draws 10 amperes. I figured this out by looking at the power rating label which states that it draws 1200 watts of power at 120V. Since power current X voltage I can find current by using current power / voltage. Power is 1200 watts and the voltage is 120, so current 1200W/120V 10 amperes. Of course, I'm assuming you live in an area where the standard wall voltage is 120V. In Europe and other places that use 220-240V, an iron can draw the same amount of power but with only half of the current.
