- They can be done as two separate piercings, and it is up to the piercer and the shape of your ear to decide if something like that will be done. However, I would not recommend it, because even if it is partially healed, putting two separate earrings in can still misalign the piercing when you go to put the bar back in later. I would recommend keeping the bar in, it's a guaranteed way to make your piercing work out. Besides, once you get used to the bar, you won't even know you have it in! Much easier than keeping track of two separate earrings and making sure they still align months down the road. As for the angle, it depends on your preference and what is able to be done due to the shape of your ear. Some people want theirs straight across, others want a much steeper angle. - As long as the bar's the correct length (long enough to accomodate a little bit of swelling, but not too long), and you have a good piercer, you shouldn't have a problem. Getting two and then changing to a bar later also costs twice as much money :P

- Because they're on basic cable? Seriously, barbwire matches are extremely violent and not worth the risk, and Scaffold matches are all payoff and no good build. I've only seen two watchable scaffolding matches in my life. One was between the Free Birds and the Road Warriors, the other was Rhino and AJ in TNA. A good, entertaining scaffolding match is hard to pull off, and not worth the risk of injury. I guess the correct answer is Vince McMahon cares about money, and to injure a major draw in such a stupid, boring, one-spot-wonder like a Scaffold Match is just bad business. As for barbwire rope matches, they limit what you can do in the ring, you'd be surprised how claustraphobic it can be for a wrestler who can't leave the ring, go up top, or hit the ropes, not to mention the major risk. I mean, have you seen what happened to Sabu during the Funker/Douglas/Sabu match back in ECW? One of the sickest scars ever.
