- I am in the home cleaning business. I have tried many vacuums. Kirby's are very heavy, expensive and somewhat challenging to use since you have to take off the power head part (the part of the vacuum that sucks up the dirt) to add on a hose to vacuum upholstery. Plus they have bags that need to be changed. Oreck's are light weight but expensive and don't have attachments, plus they have bags that need to be changed. Dyson's work well, they are bagless and have attachments on the vacuum itself. They can however become clogged easily, but I still recommend this one. If price was no object, hands down the Rainbow is my choice. It is bagless, but traps dirt into a water bowl that you then have to empty. Has washable hepa filter. The attachments are on board but it does have a couple different hoses (one for dirt and one for water, for those wet messes that sometimes occur or for shampooing carpet). There are many more that I have used but I'm sure you don't want me to list them all. So all in all, go bagless, have attachments on the vacuum, have floor height adjustments, hepa filter recommended (which helps to prevent dust from getting into the air) and a long cord.
- Q: I have two pembroke welsh corgis who shed like crazy and bare floors (no carpet at all). I am looking for a great, affordable vacuum that does not collect hair in the bristles on the bottom of the vacuum but actually sucks it up into the machine. HEPA included preferably since I suffer from allergies to a ridiculous amount of indoor allergens. Any suggestions of good or even bad vacuum cleaners to buy would be great! Thanks :)

- cars vacuum cleaners appliances there are just too many to list They used to make products to last. Quality used to mean something in the make of a product. Now the policy isn't quality but quantity to keep the money rolling in. :-))

- I love my Oreck! It has great suction power and is really lightweight. My mom (in her 70's) tried it and has a much easier time vacuuming. I've had mine 3 years and no problems at all. The handheld that came with it works great as well - better suction than other handhelds in my opinion.
- Q: My wife and I are looking into getting a new vacuum cleaner. My sister has a Dyson, and she is just in love with it. We know that there is a Dyson out there specifically made for pets (we have a black lab), which is what we are leaning towards. However, we have also heard that there have been a number of Dysons that have been returned due to problems with them. We've also heard that there is a brand of vacuum out there that is supposed to be almost exactly like the Dyson but with limited issues.Does anyone out thereknow of what this other brand is, and what are your experiences with either (Dyson or this other brand)?
