Q: How much are they and what store sells them the cheapest: Sears sells Eureka E Z Kleen for about 80.00 it's an upright. The suction is really strong on it, and the replacement hepa filters are also sold in the stores. It comes with a few attachments and is vey lightweight. I have had one for about 3 years now, no complaints.

Q: My mom is looking for a new vacuum cleaner and can't decide between an upright or canister. She has a lot of carpeted areas and bare floor as well. What would you recommend? Can you suggest good vacuum cleaners that aren't too expensive and especially, aren't too heavy or difficult to maneuver?: A canister one is more flexible.I have an LG.

Q: A guy who had a heart attack said they gave him a pamphlet at the hospital that said to avoid cars and vacuum cleaners because they vibrate. He also said the latest research on fish oil shows it doesn't do anything for your health.: That's ridiculous.

Q: Should I spend a lot and expect it to last for years, or should I spend a little and expect to replace it next year. What brand and model should I buy. Please help!: I prefer the canister cleaners. It's best all-around. You can use it for your car, too. You can't find them everywhere anymore. We have stairs in our house. Canisters are more flexible and they are not as heavy as the carpet vacuum cleaner (we have a Hoover also). We buy ours from Sears Roebuck. We pick the best one we can afford and the last one we replaced lasted us almost 20 yrs. of regular usage and then we gave it away to my husband's boss and bought a new one because I noticed that although it still worked, it had lost some suction strength. We also have a small shop vac. which I like because I needed it to pick up some rubble when work was done in our home and we also can use it to sweep our car and it's Very light. It's not a good carpet sweeper, though. No vibrating brush and we had to get an adapter to fit a smaller hose and extension tubes, plus the nozzle I didn't have already in order to sweep floor..

Q: I am in desperate need of a new vacuum cleaner - I have just bought a vax after the sales lady recommended but am taking it back due to its poor performance its so noisy my neighbours hear me hoovering at the end of the street ! far too heavy and hardly picks up a thing !! I have had a dyson before which was fab but really cannot stretch to a new one far too pricy - perhaps i am always going to compare performance to this anyone know anything as good but not as expensive all opinions greatly appreciated: get a dyson. they are a step above the rest . try OKorder where they are having a sale on dysons at the moment...
