Q: What kind of power inverter can handle a house vacuum cleaner?: A BIG one. It should be rated to deliver at least 2500 watts continuously. Such an inverter would be very costly, and run even a very large battery down very quickly. A generator rated for 2500 watts or more would be much easier, and probably cheaper, to feed.

Q: I need a vacuum cleaner that can clean pet messes such as urine, but also clean human messes such as rice vegetables and dirt, I don't want a too heavy vacuum it has to be pretty light but powerful and from 60 to a little over a 100 dollars, thank you :): Dyson is the only good brand

Q: I've never had one so any opinion would really help.THANKS...: Pros are what people like about a particular product. Cons are what they do NOT like. I have a Roomba Discovery 4220 (black) I like it very much. I have hardwood floors, as well as carpet. It does very well on both. It runs about 2 hours on a charge the AUTOMATICALLY returns itself to the charger to recharge. You can't get any more convenient than that. Just make sure everything (Clothes, Wires, etc) are off the floor, empty the cannister before each use, and let it go!

Q: One of my dogs loves it.. I just vacuumed him for about 10 minutes.. he was in heaven! My other two are afraid of the vacuum... lol: It's good to be informed of this, another difference 'twixt dogs and cats. Cats universally flee the room faster than a speeding thought, when a vacuum is turned on--sometimes if it's even just brought into the room! But they are fixated magically by those little penlight laser beams, if you whirl the light around on the rug. I wonder what dogs feel about those laser lights, and how they respond? And I now have an idea. Could I train the kitty cats to flee the room in terror if I conditioned them by playing the laser light and then immediately turning on a vacuum cleaner?!? What do you think? :-)

Also, does anyone know what is the suction power I am looking for for hosehold use.: You need the AMPS to determine the suction power the more AMPS they have the better suction power you'll get- but here is a very, very good vacuum to look into- It is a Bissel Powerforce Bagless Vacuum-my son bought his at Wal-mart and I use his all the time! It has 4 re-usable filters that you can rinse out and an attachment brush that has rotaion on it that I use on my bed and once after I had washed my bed spread it had those little lint pills all over it that I tried to shave off- well I tried this attachment and it took them off like it was nothing! I think he only paid like maybe $100 or less for his and it is now MY favorite vacuum!

Q: Why do cats hate vacuum cleaners so much? We have three loud kids in our household, dishwasher, washing machine, motor bike etc and the cat doesn't worry. Start the vacuum cleaner and that is a whole other story. She will bolt and hide under my doona. Why do cats hate them so much and has anybody ever had or met a cat that doesn't mind vacuum cleaners?: We've only had one cat who liked vacuum cleaners lol It was one of those cylinder ones and from being a kitten he would sit on it and ride around the floor as we used it.We had it on a circuit breaker for safety as he loved it so much.
