Q:2003 nissan almera petrol.i am an elevator installer by trade but have worked as a fitter in a hire center for the last two years.i would have a good understanding of all things mechanical and im used to stripping machines and changing parts on anything from generators to chain hoists and mini excavators.i have never worked on a car clutch however and im wondering should i leave it to a professional or have a go myself?
Best find a buddy who has done one. You supply the beer. It's not hardest thing to do, but without a lift it's a pain... Be absolutely sure it's the clutch before you start. If it's a hydraulic clutch it can be the hose or the slave cylinder. In that case it doesn't want to disengage.
Q:Like articles about keeping healthy at work, or relating to your employer, or conflict with your employees always seem to assume people work in offices. So do most articles about management. There are a lot of people who don't work in offices. Excavator operators, hairdressers, shop managers, drywallers, construction workers, mining engineers, auto mechanics, machinists, millwrights, linemen, pilots, and golf course superintendents don't work in offices or they may have a desk, but don't really work there. These people are not necessarily unskilled. Many of them are well-trained, well-paid, and highly skilled.
I think you make a great point, Cybele! :)
Q:NEW ORLEANS - Thieves hauled off $100,000 worth of heavy equipment that was being used to help build a Lower Ninth Ward memorial to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. A Bobcat excavator and a Bobcat T300 Skid Steer Loader, both of which require trailers or flatbed trucks to transport, were removed from the site sometime between midnight and 6:30 a.m. Saturday, construction company officials said.In the neighborhood that remains nearly pitch black at night almost a year after the levees failed, the equipment didn't last three days at the site. Can you really blame them???? Almost a year and no fucin homes put up and some assholes are tryin to build a memorial for the dead people (no disrespect) and sayin fuc the ones that are alive, I would have stole the equipment too. Why the hell are they even building a memorial in a town where anyone that its quot;SUPPOSEDquot; to be for isnt even there to see it because they are out of a home and jobs, what the fucs the purpose????
Typical 9th ward crap! Even if those machines were for building new homes they still would have been stolen. Those people rely on welfare and are used to getting handouts. They have no sense of what is right, not to mention not one once of a work ethic. They just sit around and blame the rest of the world for the hell hole that they call home! Good riddance, let the 9th ward rot!
Q:We do have one lined up already.
It depends entirely on the area of the country you are in, the weather, and the excavator you have chosen. There is no average wait time. If you are building your own home, you are at a disadvantage with an excavator, and will be at a disadvantage with every subcontractor you deal with during the construction of your home. You are only building one home, while the builders they normally work for build multiple homes per year. Every subcontractor will put off your job and give priority to the builders who hire them month after month and year after year. Unfortunately, you may be a one shot deal. Good luck with your situation.
Q:We have a crimson maple tree in our yard that needs to be moved approx' 50' due to an addition to our home. It is 20' tall with a drip line of 15 feet and a trunk diameter of 6quot; -7quot;. Some landscapers say to move it with a tree spade, and others say it should by hand dug and balled with burlap before moving. Which method would you recommend?
I like the balled and burlap way
Q:Im playing the new moon map and at some point both excavators come on, cutting off the entire map. Is there any way of getting around them aside from hacking the control panels or getting headbutted by the astronaut?
hack one of the green light in the first room
Q:on the lego excavator how do you keep the battery pack secured on the bottom
JB weld putty will permanently bond the pack to the lego base.
Q:We are working on a project up North (Nunavut, Cit anada) and there is 45,000 Gallon of JP-4 left there by the USAF in the mid-80's (probably when they turned to JP-8). That's a large volume we would preferably reused than shipped and disposed at high cost in the south. If possible, we are looking forward to mix the JP-4 with additives and use it in the heavy equipment (excavators, trucks, loaders, etc). Some info gathered on the internet mentionned to mix JP-4 with 10W30 motor oil, but we need a precise answer as we cannot afford to damage the diesel engine of the equipment. Thanks a lot for your help !
With this much fuel, some processing is required. This could be as simple as prefiltering prior to use. In order to not harm your engines, you will need to raise the flashpoint of the JP4.(FP = 0F). Petro diesel has a flashpoint of ~180F. Mixing it with waste oil is a good idea, but proportioning will be an issue. You will need to have both the JP4 and the Oil you intend to yse tested in a local lab. You need to know the following 1. pour point 2. viscosity 3. flashpoint. then Prepare a decade series of mixtures with increasing amounts of oil 1% oil, 10% oil, 20% and so on. plot the flash points for this series and determine the exaact mixture that gives you 182 degrees F. If your JP4 is in barrels the mixing is easier. If its in a tank farm there will be more processing. You will have to deal with algae, water and a lot of sediment. good luck
