- Q:I've wanted an industrial/scaffold piercing for ages! My mum is finally looking into letting me have it done. Any advice about it? How can I hide it for school? What's the healing time? :) thank you for any feed back.
- Most piercings need 6 months to fully heal. Industrial will take up to a year to do so. You have to keep the jewelry in and do not take it out ( not even once ) for the whole period of 1 year. This means that you can't hide it for school. You can't put a retainer on also, cause only titanium or stainless steel material are proper for an open wound aka a new piercing. This piercing is not easy to heal and can stay irritated for long. It goes through cartilage and you have to be really careful with the aftercare and the piercer's info if you want to keep the piercing and yourself healthy. You have to be careful and not touch it or play with it and twist it or take it out. You clean this piercing with sea salt soaks or non alcohol antibacterial soap 2-3 times a day. You dry it with paper towels. If you can do the above daily and be extra careful go get it done. Gluck
- Q:Any advise on nerves? I have 11 piercings but I'm still terrified of needles! Any tips on keeping my cool?
- I got my industrial two days ago and it was my first piercing besides the standard lobes and i heard it hurt the worst of all the ear piercings and u have 11? Lol if I could do it u can do it lol I was soooooo nervous and then it just happened and not gonna lie it hurt a lot lol but what I did to distract myself I just talked really loud about the pain lol I was like O MY GOD IT HURTS SO BAD lmao and now it's a lil sore but ull be happy with the results :D
- Q:What could you do with 100,000 jumbo cotton balls, 50 gallons of honey, and three story scaffolding?
- Take them on the road-trip of course....we'll find some use for them along the way.....
- Q:What does scaffold one's days mean? kill time?
- In 60 years of using English in Britain I have not come across that expression, so it is probably rare. Scaffolding is put up to help build or repair tall buildings, so possibly that expression means 'to do something useful with one's time.' But a scaffold is also, historically, a place of execution (legal killing of prisoner), so the expression could mean indeed 'wasting time'. I have a faint feeling that 'scaffold one's days' was written by a non-native speaker of British English. It may be more common in the USA.
- Q:opinions on scaffolding piercing and how to hide it from school :)?
- Why do you have to hide it? It's an ear piercing. And to hide it, just cover it with your hair.
- Q:Topic?Scaffolding construction program how to doSpecial construction scheme
- More recently asked scaffolding people, I made a standard answer to see if you have any useful (already adopted)
- Q:three examples of scaffolding, thanks
- As long as you're on the internet, why not just Google examples of scaffolding rather than expecting someone on YA to do your homework for you?
- Q:What's the film where gene Kelly dances on scaffolding? And at a gym?
- I think it's Living in a Big Way.... I could be wrong...
- Q:So im a guyAnd I might get oneAnyone had one before/got one?Any advice? How much do they normaly cost?if you answer this i will love you forever :)
- okay, if you do end up getting it, make sure you get it on the side you DONT sleep on. dont let shampoo get on it. be really careful with it. if you have longer hair dont let your hair get caught in it cause it'll get tangled on it and it'll hurt and tug on the bar. it's usually around 40 dollars for it. this piercing requires a long time to heal and it has a high risk of infection. but if you take good care of it, you'll be good (: hope this helpedd.
- Q:Hi(: My names Tasha, and I love piercings. (I have 8) And I want to get an industrial piercing(Some call it a scaffold). But my ear doesn't have a bend like most people do.I got my first four piercings done by a professional. But felt I was much more comfortable having my brother(22) do it. Since he's someone I know, and hes done piercings and stuff before.
- person above me obviously didnt read LOL. anyways as to your problem you might have to bend your ear a bit while you are piercing it but this mite cause the jewlry to pull forward, you could also go higher up, change the angles or you could do a vertical industrial which would look gud with ur other pericings
