- LengthxWidthxHeight is the formula 26x22x.33(4/12)=188.76 cu ft/27(27 cu ft per yard)=6.99 cu yards for the slab and your footings are 22x1.5(18/12)x.833(10/12)=27.489 cu ft/27=1.01 yards and you have 2 footings so 1.01x2=2.04 yards so in total 6.99+2.04=9.03 yards altogether ok.

- Wow, how is this person supposed to know what to do? Seriously, go and buy BOMIX 15 or whatever, just standard GRAVEL, PORTLAND CEMENT and SAND. It should contain nothing else. It comes in 66 pound bags at home depot. Then, when it has cured as hard as it will get (couple of days/weeks) let it soak in a tub of water for a few days, changing the water occasionally to clean it. Then put it in with your fish. That is the standard procedure for my fish and I've had fishies die from ornaments from the pet store, so be careful who you trust with your pets.

- next time you have some cement, get some--must be wet and ready to dry; form it to whatever you would like(use imagination), let it get hard, (it should be big enough to keep in your pocket or purse) so whenever you feel this sexual urge or sensation getting hold of you hold it, rub it, cress it, or do what you need to do with it so that you can relax and feel fulfilled.

- There's no such thing as evening out cement once it's cured. It has to be removed and redone. Don't pay the contractor, and have him rip up the whole thing and start from scratch. His mistake... you shouldn't have to pay for it. NOTE: Take digital pictures in case you need to take legal action. A tip: place a newspaper from that day on the ground when taking a picture so that you can prove the date of the pictures.

- Q: How to lay cement blocks?
- For a patio laying payver's: Remove 4-6 inches of soil/sod, lay fabric, compact 3-4 inches of gravel and level pad or if attached to the house grade away from structures, screed 1 inch of sand or stone dust or cement and lay payver's into it. Tap with rubber mallet When completed sweep fine sand into the cracks. ======================================... Laying Blocks for a block-wall: Dig footer for wall fill with concrete and let it sit for at least a day Mix masonry mortar so it will be a soft paste but still stick to a trowel. If you look at the top and the bottom of the block you will notice that they have a different thickness in the walls. the small part goes down and the thick one is suppose to be on the top. Take some mortar and better evenly the to attaching edges of the block and make sure that the first coarse will be level and straight. You can use either use level or string as tools. Tap the block with an hammer to position it right and scrape excess mortar off with your trowel to reuse it. The second run should be offset by an half block, for that just simply cut on back and start with an half block....Keep checking for level and plumb as you laying your blocks
