- Q: I got the bike and the fork on it is bent back and I don't know why it wont come off no madder how hard I try.
- If this is a threaded headset then you must loosen the centre bolt of the handle bar stem,be it allen[hex]key or a socket.after this is loosened then you should lightly tap it with a piece of wood or whack it with a rubber mallet. Then twist the stem maybe even lube it if needed [with a thin lubricant that will flow down]but only if neededIf this doesn't work your stem/fork might be an intigrated system that may need some tapping of the head[steer] tube of the frame or try pouring pure vinegar into the top of the stem or fork hole from underneath. After the stem is now removed then you must unscrew the threaded headsets top cover and bearing race, sometimes this is one in the same. After you see bearings then the fork should come outIn rare cases torching is needed If you have a threadless head set then you must remove the stem then remove the top of the head set by tapping lightly the fork steer tube with a peice of wood or whack it with a rubber mallet.Usually a plastic or aluminum round wedge is the locking mechanism.Do not try to pry it with anything sharp or a true tight headset might be not in your futureThis is all I can offer without more infoI sure hope it can help,if not please add more to your post so help can be more easilly provided
- Q: I need a picture of a skyscraper made of aluminum for a science project. i have had such a hard time looking and i am yet to find a picture of a skyscraper made of mostly aluminum. can anyone find me a picture of a very tall skyscraper made of aluminum? thanks =]
- I don't know that I've ever heard of a skyscraper made of aluminum. Although aluminum is almost as strong as steel (tensile strength), it's modulus of elasticity is about 1/3 that of steel, so it would tend to sway in the breeze about 3 times as much as a steel structure. And vibrations from earthquakes would be a real problem (more of a problem than it already is for steel).
- Q: and how is this relates to valence electrons?
- I strongly suggest you visit the insulation manufacturer's websites for detailed instructions for your situationThey cover almost any normal type of insulation job, including how much for your area.
- Q: I can only think of an oven or ovenette, a gas or electric stove, knives, a chopping board and a potato peelerWhat else is a must? Thanks in advance.
- Toaster Oven Microwave Oven Stove Oven Hand Mixer Blender Can Opener Coffee Maker (unless you like a Press) Mortar/Pestle Grill Pan or Griddle Chopping Board Mixing Bowls - Atleast 3 Colander or comparable strainer Foil Pans Spatuals - Atleast 3 Laddle Fork Tongs Straining Laddle Tupperware (food storage) - I prefer Lock n LockPeeler Micro Grater Potato Masher or Ricer (I like the Ricer better) Juice Press (for oranges and other citrus) Measuring Cups and Spoons Salt and Pepper Shaker Butter Bell Pam Spray Manual Can Opener (could to have if you lose power) All of these in Stainless Steel: 8 Fry Pan 10 Fry Pan 1 qt Sauce Pan with Lid 2 qt Sauce Pan with Lid 3 qt Sauce Pan with Lid 3 qt Casserole with Lid 3 qt Saute Pan with Lid 8 qt Stock Pot with Lid (better yet to get one with a steamer insert so you can do veggies) Roasting Pan (for roasts, chicken etc) Lasagna Pan Sheet Pans (for cookies) Pizza Pan Cupcake Pan (for muffins and cupcake) Loaf Pan Cake Pans Wok - can't live without Lots of oven mits Forks, Knives (a good knife set is worth it), Spoons Ice Cream Scoop Pizza Cutter Space (very important) Spices!!! Olive Oil Onions Garlic Bread Crumbs Bread Potatoes Chicken Broth Sugar Flour Eggs Milk Brown Paper Bags Cooking Twine Ziplock Bags Roasting Bags Aluminum Foil Saran Wrap Parchment Paper Basting Brush Corn Cob Holders Paper Towels Hand Towels Apron Cleaning supplies to clean up after yourself Plates, Bowls and Glasses (enough to serve atleast 4 people or 8 for a group) Serving Bowls or Dishes (if you want to use pots etc to serve from, get's some trivets or use oven mits) If you like drinking then consider having appropriate glasses, a bar set, a wine rack, and cork opener- As the guy mentioned above, a lot of what I mentioned can be trimmed down but seeing I love to mess around in the kitchen, this what I deem essentialI am still saving up for a good pan and pot setA good set is really worth the money.
- Q: I want to use an 8x8 pan using hamburger , mozarella cheese and whatever I can use
- The basic idea is you layer sauce, noodles, and thin layers of cheese until you run out of noodles, putting some extra mozzarella on the top, maybeA combination of ricotta and mozzarella works best, but it would be interesting to see what exclusive use of mozzarella would turn out to be likeI like to mix romano in with the ricotta, personallyIf you want to put hamburger spinach, or bits of zucchini or other vegetables in the sauce, that's up to youAn 8 X 8 pan should take from 45 minutes to an hour on 350 F, depending on how high you stack itI get good results with the no-boil kind of noodles if you can find them, and it saves an extra step with no noticable difference in taste or textureIf you want to make sure the inside gets warm before the cheese gets brown, you can put aluminum foil on the top of the pan until the last ten minutes of baking.

- Q: I don't have a pizza ceramic cooker, so I'll be cooking it on an aluminum pan in an oven. What's your best recipe for making a great pizza dough?Mine always seems to come out really hard like a toast for some reason.
- This is the recipe I always use to make my pizza: PIZZA DOUGH 1 pkg yeast 1 1/4 c warm water 3 1/2 - 4 c flour 1/2 tsp salt Sprinkle yeast on warm waterAdd 2 c flour and saltBeat wellKnead until elastic and smoothButter or oil a bowl, shape the dough into a ball, drop into the bowl, turn over to coat the other side, cover the bowl and let rise for 30 minutesKnead again to force out the airDivide in halfEach half makes one 11 circleSpray a round pizza panAdd the dough and spread out with your fingersYou can also use those throw-away aluminum pie tins but use the one ball across 2-3 of the pie tinsPat into place with your fingersPlace in a preheated 450 degree oven for 5 minutes while it's emptyThis seals the dough so the filling doesn't make it soggySpread seasoned tomato sauce over the dough and add your toppingsBake in the 450 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese has melted and is goldenThis recipe has always worked for meHope that helps.
- Q: I have this bowl of cooking grease on the top of my stove and I just have a aluminum foil coveringIts just white and it looks to me like it has harden already. When I lift the foil it sinks really bad! - While you can buy jarred buffalo sauce, it would be better to make your own by mixing Frank's Red Hot (original) with melted butterYou can use this as a base for other flavorsyou can add honey or minced garlicYou can mix this with BBQ sauce for a smokey, spicy flavor How much butter you use is what determined hot, medium or mildExperiment until the heat is where you want it to be, or make three different spice levels.
