- It's possible, but I don't see it as a singled-out, primary factor. Some improvements by themselves would be unnoticeable. The government did a study of oil intervals - in an attempt to figure out how to stretch them longer. There's a good bit of interesting reading on the site I posted below. I use Engine Sentry in my Harley, and my car and truck. (Looking at the first one I ran through my Harley was scary and it got me doing it to all my vehicles.) - Its not a fuel additive, its called common sense and reasonable driving habits. Even better, because it doesn't cost you anything, and it saves you money.

- if you want a good cheap oil use shell rotella 5w40. do not use a 0w weight oil. thicker better. 5w40 is usually not too thick of an oil, but do not use thicker then this.
