- Not really, they are not made for diesel motors, just use a good quality oil and forget about any oil additives.

- Yes it does, but it's not much. 3-10 hp depending on application. And it's only efficient to have 2 intakes if you have a V configuration. If you don't know what I'm talking about, STOP what you are doing to your car, and read some books about the basics of the internal combustion engine.

- It's probably one of the b vitamins like folic acid, riboflavin, there are lots of b vitamins and they also put c in there and others. If you ever see anything that says enriched flour it is loaded with vitamins. It's in everything, bread, crackers, cookies, any snack food that's pre packaged really.
- Q:is it ok to buy additives over the counter and add them to the oil?
- If you want to, but why would you. Motor oils have all the additives you need unless you have some very special operating conditions. Some of the over the counter additives will actually cause oil to gum or burn. Most of them would void a warranty. If your engine is worn out additives will not make it new. Leaking gaskets and seals can be fixed very temporarily with some additives but they actually are weakening the seals. These things are usually added just before you sell the car to a stranger.
- Q:I always wonder because not as many people had problems with weight, say like 30 years ago. I understand in times past people didn't have things so easy as we do today, but they weren't all exercise freaks either. Something has to be causing this. And if this is a cause, what can we do to avoid this?
- Fast Foods, frozen prepared foods, processed foods etc. all add to the weight and health problems. Just don't buy them and consume them on a regular basis.Thirty years ago much of it was available but we didn't buy it as a regular staple. It was a treat so to speak. People should eat more home grown food and make dinner from scratch. i don't see it changing too much in the near future. it is easier to drive up to McDonald's then to stop and get out of the car, find your way thru the supermarket, wait in line etc etc. Sounds like you know good from bad. Just don't go with the flow.

- Probably nothing considering it wouldn't save anyone any money. A little suspicious that supposedly oil prices are so high because of its scarcity. However, ethanol which is usually cheaper than regular gas is now more expensive. Diesel which is a less refined version of gasoline is also more expensive than the oh so valuable gasoline. Make much sense? I think not.
